Learned Helplessness and Victimhood Mindset have paralyzed so many people lately. There's a dark cloud perception that blatant corruption has taken over the economic and political systems of the West and that it is futile to attempt to overcome it.
I know what has helped me to personally overcome these negative and self-defeating mindsets and replace them with joy and hope. Sadly, many people love to exist in their our sadness and self-pity.
Thanks! That's a really good point, and it's hard for people to grapple with. Two things that are true at the same time: The West is deteriorating, but it's not futile to fight for a better outcome. I really hope that more people adopt this mindset; Many will think it's trivial but it's really not. I see so many people (online, even in my own family) whose lives are miserable because they blame everything on everything except themselves. Taking ownership, even though it's painful and hard always beats leaning back and pointing fingers. Enough serious talk, enjoy the summer!😎
