That one guy in the video sounds unnecessarily rude for no reason at all. Probably because it's what happens when you really analyze hypetuber "content"

Hasbro and Microsoft both said that they would want to see these games come back and that they've been looking into using and tinkering with the original drives. Not to mention the Cybertron games and Devastation have been more highly requested to be remastered or re-listed than any other game on Xbox and PC. Microsoft also owns Activision, they're no longer their own company, so in the end, it would kind of be Microsoft's decision. And Microsoft is also one of the richest megacorporations out there, so they would definitely have enough money to re-acquire the license and remaster and/or re-list the Cybertron games and Devastation on current gen platforms aside from Switch and PS5. The games have been in such high demand for comebacks for a long time now, and Microsoft and Hasbro have both expressed interest in granting us this wish, and licensing shouldn't be a problem anymore since Microsoft now owns Activision. It's been talked about for months, it's been asked for for years, Activision and Microsoft employees have been tweeting about finding the drives for the games, it's happening.

*"Hasbro and Microsoft both said that they would want to see these games come back and that they've been looking into using and tinkering with the original drives. "*
Microsoft never said this, at least to my knowledge. Where did you hear this?

*"Microsoft and Hasbro have both expressed interest in granting us this wish, and licensing shouldn't be a problem anymore since Microsoft now owns Activision"*
Again, never seen Microsoft nor Activision publicly announce interest. Hasbro mentioned it, but they don't get the say here. And there are many bigger Activision titles that they will likely prioritize.

*"Activision and Microsoft employees have been tweeting about finding the drives for the games"*
If you link some sources for it, I'd be more than glad to take a look. But again, I haven't heard anything about this, and have been keeping up pretty decently.

Activision said "they were never lost" . They never said they were looking for them or going to bring them back and to me anyway they only said that because they were felt hurt by the notation that people think they don't know how to archive and backup games
so it doesn't mean anything itself

Why would hasbro want the games back if they didn't make a lot of money back? And it seems Hasbro doesn't want to work with activision anymore since they are working with 2 different studios now. One for tie in games like earthspark and Splash damage for a +AAA TF game. If I remember correctly, Hasbro made a new gaming studio to focus on +AAA GI joe and transformers games, I think the name is wizard of the coasts.
