I'll watch every video you put out. Short, long, it doesnt matter. Well briefed and well executed. This was epic! Absolutely stunning footage as always!
After all of the videos I have watched there is" ONE THING YOU PREACH" SAFETY SAFETY and SAFETY, and its shows in your Videos, thanks Josh Great Video thanks and be safe up there and on the ground..
Absolutely amazing to watch him fly around your plane while you just stay on a straight path. Rad. 4:45 loved "airspeed Vy-ish" 8:30 omg the harmonic! also you were surprisingly chill after being told your engine was making a funny sound. Gotta add Dean to my "fly with another pilot bucket list" .. along with Josh and Chelsea and Bryan and so many others.
Love the short video format. And thank you for emphasizing the importance of training and a thorough briefing for formation flight. Way too many pilots just grab a buddy and go fly formation without training or a well briefed plan, which has at times ended in tragedy.
Great short video. Unfortunate that Chels couldn't join in the fun but what a great opportunity to stress the importance of safety. When something isn't right with the plane, don't ignore it and best to always check it out and determine what the issue is on the ground that to find out in the air and have a serious problem. Love the formation flying and very good warning about the preflight and to only do this with an experienced instructor. It is also good to have other eyes in the plane to keep an eye on the other plane(s). Formation flight with dis-similar planes can be really challenging but the Eagle has such a huge performance envelope, it made it look easy.
G,day Josh and Chels from Sydney Australia. Disappointed that one plane couldn't fly. Some dramatic filming with the bi-plane crossing in front of 991. Would have liked a "look-see" over Texas State university? That mention of engine noise in 991 only music is audible. Happy, healthy, current and proficient is your order...and something with a cordless drill? 🦌🤪🇭🇲
"Get some training, be safe about it, and have some fun..." is a great, But... I suggest an additional phrase. "Be Smart" followed by the rest. My view comes from military flying wherein many our flight missions were inherently not safe, but were one to fly smart, surviving is easier to obtain. Therefore, Fly Smart - Fly Safe Do the 1st, the 2nd comes Naturally.
Great fun. Most of us don't have the time for long trips in our planes so these short clips are something akin to a video $100 hamburger. All your content tells a good story so I don't think you'll hear any complaints.
My good friend and fellow pilot had a Christian Eagle, we flew some formation flights together. His plane was stolen in the middle of the night from his hanger in Miami, Oklahoma. As far as I know it was never found. We think it went out of the country. It had to of been an experienced pilot because not just any pilot could just jump in and fly a Christian Eagle off.
Being a person who uses only one eye, I don't have standard depth perception. I would love to learn how to fly, and understand their might be a special eye test that if passed, I might be able to.
Noticed pilot and co-pilot windows open when returning to the pattern and open all the way through landing. What point is it safe to fly a 172 with windows open? I don't see anything in my C172S POH.
I fly formation with my flying buddies all the time . There is not a single formation flying school that I know of in Canada... What is it that "we don't know what we don't know" ? please educate
A lot can go wrong very quickly when flying formation. When it does, everyone needs to understand what to do and, preferably, have practiced for those scenarios. FAST (formation and safety training) puts out a very good manual on how to fly formation. It’s adapted from the US military formation training that was learned through many lost lives. Another good resource is FFI (formation flying inc.), which has a manual and supplements for a few different types of aircraft.
just wondering if you figured out why that ground control guy was so snarky to you. I figure that he got his pants in a knot because you repeated exactly what he said, only more concisely, shorter but without leaving anything out. the guy just can't stand anybody smarter than him.😆
HUGE thank yous to the pilots! Absolute magic up there 😎
Perfect, he nailed the landing as if it was his own aircraft!
I'll watch every video you put out. Short, long, it doesnt matter. Well briefed and well executed. This was epic! Absolutely stunning footage as always!
Certainly appreciate warnings RE: formation flying!
Oh Josh, you're phenomenal photographer. Knowing to take good composition in the heat of the flying, that's definitely talent mixed with experience.
I liked that short "shoot from the hip" video. Very enjoyable
Awesome! I'm glad you liked it. 🙌🏼
OMG. I’m so excited for you both!! You’re both very special people!
Don't always need long videos. Short and sweet is always a great thing and this one was amazing
Great video Josh, I don't mind the the shorter content. The "normal life" videos are nice.
Eagles Aerobatic Team was the first airshow I can remember! SO cool to see a bird that brings back great memories.
Fantastic! All your videos are great! I feel bad for Chels. 😢
Would've been great to see her buzzing around in the Grumman.
After all of the videos I have watched there is" ONE THING YOU PREACH" SAFETY SAFETY and SAFETY, and its shows in your Videos, thanks Josh Great Video thanks and be safe up there and on the ground..
Everything about this is phenomenal. The visuals, the communication, the stoke factor. Well done.

Wow. Epically beautiful video. Truly mesmerizing.
Thanks Josh.
As to the shorter stuff, always wanting more. This is a super cool watch for me…flying out of El Paso commercial today, thinking about Lajitas…
Great video. Awesome air-air footage. I have always wanted to do an air to air photos session.
I love the aerobatics and formation flying. Leland can make his plane talk to him real nice.
Neat that Leland's plane has the Flying Eyes logo on both sides of the his fuselage. Awesome video, as always, Josh!
Superb camera work.....and editing!🎥
I love your flying and the views are amazing keep up the great work.
Thanks!!
Nothing but the best coming from you, Josh . Enjoyed so much. Hate that Chelsia didn’t get to go in third plane, Staying safe too priority.❤🙏🙏
Great flying y’all. it’s a shame Chelsea didn’t get a chance to see it with you guys. 😊
Amazing video my friend as usual , thank you for sharing , have a nice day big like !
Gorgeous. Brought back a few memories!!!
Another FANTASTIC video ! The shots you obtained actually show why Pilots LOVE to fly... Great Job, and THANKS !
What a beautiful video. Seeing the bi-plane from your perspective in formation was gorgeous. Thank you A101.
Love the short video format. And thank you for emphasizing the importance of training and a thorough briefing for formation flight. Way too many pilots just grab a buddy and go fly formation without training or a well briefed plan, which has at times ended in tragedy.
Love the shoot from the hip videos. The imagery is amazing. Well done.
Thanks Josh and Leland. John Denver owned one of the Christian Eagles and did so some acrobatic flying. Such a cool plane it is.
Love watching formation flying, almost as much as doing it. At least your formation friend is flying with the correct number of wings. Biplanes rule!
Wow. Just WOW!!!!
That was Awesome. Christian Eagle is one of my favorite Air Planes.
Fun stuff. Makes me miss my Eagle!!
Beautiful.
This is why I bought a Christen Eagle :)

As always Josh, your videography was amazing. I enjoy all your videos short or long.
Josh,
Loved the video. The length is fine and the footage beautiful.
Keep up the amazing videography and flying.
Mike

Nice changeup! Cool video
"Have you noticed a 'beat' in your engine??"
"We're at 7,000 feet. 15 miles from the airport. Now is not the time to ask me that." 😆😂🤣🤣🤣
Love the content! Great for the HDAD’s out there 😄
Great video, enjoyed it a lot 🎉
I love the video. Some times you are just to good at your videos. That is a good thing.
Quality !👍

I would love to learn how to fly, and understand their might be a special eye test that if passed, I might be able to.
GREAT VIDEO!!!👍👍👍RKW
The very first thing I flew was a rc christen eagle II. Crashed it on the maiden flight...
Shorter is just as cool to me
✈️🧡✈️

You feel nauseated, not nauseous. Nauseous is what makes you feel nauseated
Nausea is what causes nauseousness, the state of feeling nauseated. 😉

It’s a Christen Eagle, not a Christian one. If you’re making a video that heavily features an aircraft, try to take the time to learn its name.
Where did I spell it wrong?
When you’re pronouncing it in the video you’re pronouncing it ‘Christian’, and so is at least one other person in the video too.
Other than that it’s a good video though.
Love the video.
