Thanks :) Even though it may seem that there's only the slime that is cgi but actually i have to make the hud, sometimes even animated, the character's hand is cgi too, i film footage from minecraft using F1 mode now(it has a lot of benefits), so i have to animate the hand manually, also the selection around blocks when you look at them, sounds that i record from game itself, some small animations like text that shows up when you change an item in your hand. There's a lot of this details and this is what i think gives that effect the most, the in-game effect

Irl a lot of energy converts into heat due to frictions, and ofc the absorption( nonelasticity) of the slime block

@@oysteregg2537 No, it's a physics thing called "conservation of energy". The short version is that an anvil bouncing off the slime shouldn't go any higher than the height it was dropped from. Add things like wind resistance, energy lost to the deformation of the slime, etc, and the anvil shouldn't even reach its original height at all. A more realistic slime would have the anvil bounce to (pulling a number out of my butt) maybe 80% the height of the drop, then 64%, 51%, 40%, 32%, and slowly make it's way down to such a small value that it would be rounded to zero and simply sit on the slime without moving.
