The base drop rate of the Money Trough in Expert difficulty is 1% before any luck modifier. Slime Staff drop rates have been "buffed" somewhat as they can be obtained from Pinky at a 1.4% drop rate compared to normal slime drop rate of 0.01%.

Man.... Money Thorough is quite a novelty item in 1.4. I'm not saying it's useless, but Bone Key from Deerclops is a better and easier alternative if looking for easier drop. More you know. Blind Playthrough always brings me a joy ngl, especially with other friends.

I'm pretty sure the drop rate is only .025% for enemies spawned by statues (if they even still can?). From the regular blood moon enemies it's a .5% drop, or 1% on expert mode (which they probably aren't on) edit: as pointed out in the replies they ARE on Expert, if I'd actually looked closer at the video that would've been pretty obvious. I just kinda skimmed the subtitles. So, yeah, it's not really too bad of a drop rate!

Terraria AFK mob farms exists for a reason. There are even Boss farms that even trivializes Moon Lord.
