  • Up to this point this construction site had remained unscathed, although with 10 metre tides & storms in the channel it was only a matter of time before it was hit with the seas full force.
    Luckily the individual involved escaped unharmed, just a little damp & was able to laugh about the experience & all work was ceased until the sea receded.

    One thing I have learned on my travels, when a local shares "local knowledge" treat it with respect and do not ignore what you've been told.

    Stunning! I was at this very spot less than a year after this footage was taken, sea was calm that day, I would have love watching these waves crash. I could watch the sea/ocean meet land all day. Great filming!

    Why didn`t that bloke remove his car when he got his feet wet. That should have been warning enough.

      Not necessarily. If he was intelligent enough and got it to a car wash and run it through a couple of times with a solid fresh water wash he could have got the salt off.

    You kept going back to film here and eventually it paid off with the 2M view video this year... well done! 👏
    Amazing there's seemingly no warning signs about the dangers at high tide in the car park!

    I watched your recent video of this exact spot and was surprised that this is a carbon copy of 8 years ago. 8 years and nothing has been done? Council work at its finest.

    • @Agnelum1
      @Agnelum1 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      But what do you want the council to do? If they block it off and don't let anyone access that area, people (like you) will moan that the council are turning the place into a "nanny state".
      There's something called "personal responsibility".

    • @russelllapua4904
      @russelllapua4904 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Agnelum1 What crevice did you pull the idea that I would advocate for more sea surge protection and then moan about it if they did it?
      You literally just fabricated that story in your head.

    8 years ago eh. 8 years for a council to tick boxes for health and safety and a bit of cronyism thrown in, someone’s uncle …Tidal Officer * 35k per annum..? And do a risk assessment of the county ( being mostly surrounded by, uh, SEA). But no, this video isn’t even the most recent..god bless UK councils and all who get paid by the tax payer.
