- Up to this point this construction site had remained unscathed, although with 10 metre tides & storms in the channel it was only a matter of time before it was hit with the seas full force.
Luckily the individual involved escaped unharmed, just a little damp & was able to laugh about the experience & all work was ceased until the sea receded.
One thing I have learned on my travels, when a local shares "local knowledge" treat it with respect and do not ignore what you've been told.

Stunning! I was at this very spot less than a year after this footage was taken, sea was calm that day, I would have love watching these waves crash. I could watch the sea/ocean meet land all day. Great filming!

Not necessarily. If he was intelligent enough and got it to a car wash and run it through a couple of times with a solid fresh water wash he could have got the salt off.
I'm from Barnstaple so I often come see this spot when there's storms forecasted, always jealous of yous that live in them apartments. Such an awesome view

I watched your recent video of this exact spot and was surprised that this is a carbon copy of 8 years ago. 8 years and nothing has been done? Council work at its finest.
But what do you want the council to do? If they block it off and don't let anyone access that area, people (like you) will moan that the council are turning the place into a "nanny state".
