    how does it do when you mop the carpet? (can you?)

    Can you map a second floor or a basement in the app? Like you can have more than one map in the app?

    Thanks so much for the review!
    I just bought one of these on impulse for a new Condo that we move into in a few weeks when the build is done. So it's good to see that it's a good product. Lots of hard hardwood and two carpeted bedrooms. We opted for the "plus" because I'm lazy. :) We, sadly, no longer have any pets, but it seems like a perfect, reasonably priced solution for our needs.
    If you leave the mop accessory on, will it affect how it vacuums carpet, and how often should you change the water?

    • @CleanChef
      @CleanChef  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Congrats on the new condo! This vacuum will be perfect for you. You will love the nice vacuum lines on your carpets!!!
      If you leave the mop on then it won't really affect anything negatively. It will just make contact with your carpets so some people don't like that. Water tank lasts a few cleans. So I would say ever 2-5x depending on how frequent it runs + how much flooring you have to mop etc!

    What are the top 3 robot vacuums you would recommend for pet hair/ dirt that mixed with sand? Thanks

    • @CleanChef
      @CleanChef  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      iRobot is still king imo for pet hair! Any of their i or j series feature the same Aero Force Cleaning system (like in the i5 in this video) so at that point it just comes down what is your budget and what features do you want (self-empty, mop, object avoidance etc)

    Does the vacuum still auto empty if the mop bin is on? Also does the mopping results look like someone hand moped with a hand held one?

    • @CleanChef

      No auto empty if mop bin is on. Mopping is the same as wiping down your floor with a wet wipe!

    Why did you leave mop bin attached when you had it go on carpet? Shouldnt that just use vacuum bin?

    • @CleanChef
      @CleanChef  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes you can! We don't care if the mop pad makes contact with the carpet and with the mop bin it can also still vacuum!

    Honestly we just got one and for one day of usage took a few hours to map the house I mean probably almost 5 hrs and its not mapping only cause I'm not able to name the rooms yet most of the room are green looks like it was cleaning.
    I definitely wouldn't call this a cordless vacuum or robotic vacuum cause it's not a vacuum it's a sweeper with a base that vacuum debris out of machine to keep it clean still not a bad machine. The mop I didn't leave on long enough to try it cause I wanted it to map out the rooms and leaving mop attachment on while mapping isn't recommended also says to use mop on areas your mopping. I've also seen in comments in other areas that mop keeps dripping if you notice 2 areas where water comes out to soak the pad are 2 Blue sponge like parts that keep th pad wet while it mops and you must keep pad clean by removing it and rinsing which isn't to bad.
    All and all I taps the clean button placed it in a room that has carpet is just of ran over the same area 12 times and still hasn't picked up the crumbs. Idk machine isn't worth it if it's not cleaning anything up. I don't hear any suctioning on the machine at all so is roomba a vacuum no it's a sweeper that runs around your house cleaning for those people who got theres to work would love to hear feedback on what you did to make yours work as for ours it's definitely going back to the store we do have a cordless dyson only thing is this last 10mins on high 😂🤣

      Someone mentioned to dampen the mop pad before using it so the fluid released by the robot will be able to flow throughout more than just the immediate spot it's released.

    The worst robot I had ever have. It has a small container, which means the dirt get stuck in-between the container and the brushes, and once opened for maintenance, it spilled. Many times it seems like charged yet it doesn't, many times it get stuck for no reason, many times it refuses to start, with no reason. As a long time user of I robot, I am disappointed, Time to move on to other brands.

    Quite disappointed after a month of use. The time you gain not vacuuming is at the end spent on the maintenance of the robot. Its good for little apartment and little cleaning but with my wife's hair and cats hair + litter on the floor, it's red flag. Long hairs get stuck in every corner of the robot.
