I stop at Wally’s in Pontiac on my way to Chicago and back every single time. Definitely worth the extra stop for coffee, brisket sandwich, and popcorn.

Wally’s will never compete with Buc-EE’s as they are not the same, especially if their sandwiches aren’t made fresh there at all, only I saw made fresh there was pizzas from another TH-cam video. In this video they are making the sandwiches fresh there, but another Wally’s didn’t have their sandwiches made fresh and suppose Wally’s are franchises, meaning the owner doesn’t keep a high standard at his location. Bathrooms are good but not as good and clean as Buc-EE’s. Another Buc-EE’s location is set to open on December 13, 2023 in Independence, Missouri, other locations are planned for Ohio, North Carolina, Wisconsin, and maybe Iowa possibly next to or near by the world’s largest truck stop, the I-80 Truck Stop in Iowa. I have heard another Buc-EE’s is planned for Arizona and hopefully they will come to California soon.
I stop at the one in Pontiac every time I head downstate. Love that place! Always so clean.
