Another thing: most sites don't even need a live CMS backend. They could just be rendered as static, with minimal form handling using PHP. Best line of defence…
My understanding is that it is friendly with other security like Wordfence and Solid Security, as it's adding rules to your .htaccess file. I've just begun testing myself.
It should work fine, but ensure you backup before adding it to your .htaccess file and then test your site fully afterwards. I've been using it with Solid Security and so far so good.
A shame to have missed this going out live, a nice crowd of friendly faces were in attendance.

Solid point…
Yeah hear loud and clear
7G(8G) sounds great, anyone know if the 7G(8G) will work with Wordfence?

Does hiding wp-admin have any help with security?
Script Kiddies search for that and then start brute forcing it. If you've changed it then your site would be skipped as the entire thing is automated.
Not really help with security per se, but it is good practice as part of your overall strategy.
you can block access to any folders that include 'wp-' , cgange your SALTS, implement 2FA, you can move your wp-config out from the main theme
