Dude , your set at t in the park Scotland , I was looking for sets of richie Hawtin, then it started with Mr boompedeeboom from Chicago DJ Sneak! From the start I was blown away from the vibes your set gave me till the end, pounding, amazing mixed together purest house a man can listen to! one masterpiece! It stays till this very day in my head, and you sir, wil be forever written on the wall of legends inside my brain! Thanks bro, simply because you exist! Much respect from a forever fan! ✊😎👊💥👏
Love this, Sneak is funky, soulful, disco & banging all at once. The tracks he plays are more discerning and require the listener to appreciate the subtleties of classic mixing with tracks that don't follow the more widely known build-ups and synths of more mainstream house. On that same note though, I also loved the early UK rave scene of the late 80s/early 90s & love the mainstream sound too. As a great classic track says "You see House is a feeling!" \o/
man, vinyl is just so delicious! but CDJ's are so slick.. you just can't lose here. DJ Sneak is awesome and i love this show. cheers from Florida fellow DJ"S!
sneak the legend..now thats what i call HOUSE MUSIC...keep it coming sneak ,kerri chandler, little louie and kenny dope, quentin harris ,frankie knuckles, dennis ferrer and many many more House LEGENDS out there...there still house heads with soul waiting to hear some funky funky house tracks..Peace and Love straight from N.Y
man hope the old style house blows up again, shit, so many interesting artists from all across the planet and different countries but aren't "big enough" to break out of their environments
How did this not hit a million views? Keep pushin on Sneak my man! Had me making the stinky 💩 face, flashing back to the many times you would steal the show at every party I saw you at back when i was in my late teens.... Causing a scene dancing in the middle of Walmart! Love ya brotha!
the good of mix i saw him in 1998 for the night of daft punk in tribal gathering so amesing dj your the best of and on the world long life to you ,you enlighting my life bro bizzzzzzz french
DJ SNEAK!!!!!! RRRhaaaaaaa Spread the love BOOM! Delightful Mr Sosa. Massive unstoppable head bumping. Thank you!!!!! See you soon I hope. Hopefully in Mykonos.
because it's a slow and subtle constant change, no surprises just a smooth set. Don't use your eyes, listen to the whole mix and feel the groove. What he do is mix between songs, thats what DJing is about.
i am a massive fan of Sneak. His style is so infectious. He brings together tunes that no other DJ would, yet every single mix he drops is pure unmistakable Sneak. With that said, he has never been a virtuoso mixer, there are often clashes on bass drums and overlaps that you would never hear in a Steve Lawler, Dave Clarke or Sasha set. Just an observation.
Pretty crappy comparison here. You're talking about a guy that plays classic funky house vs guys that play deep tribal progressive house. Sneak is unapologetic about his craft, and the reality is, ALL djs have issues from time to time. I've heard Oakenfold train wreck more times than I can count. 😂
@@MixtapeMagic fair point, well made. I personally have not found tribal progressive house to be easier to mix perfectly than classic funky house. If anything the minimalist nature of progressive house equates to longer mixes, where any mistakes are far more clearly audible.
Jaja Exactlyyy..and there are people that dont even difference House from Techno from Deep etc...today young people dont know anything about the real underground..now is all so POP and "classy" and i see this men is keep in it real..just his music and the real feeling of the underground
Watching and listening... but also can't help noticing the differences in the 'sizes' of these two men face to face. Sneak not only sounds big, he looks big too.
BTW, No issues with the beat matching. He's been djing for 20 years people. It's a chicago thing, they don't care, you're not dancing anyways. If you notice it, well good, it means that you're focused and attentive. Start drinking and dancing now, smart ass.
KDJ 9 was released as a double 12" in 1997. There has been a bootleg (same tracks, double 12") around since 2005. There are 5 different edits of basically the same track. Haven't got the slightest clue what you mean with the 'rip anything/be like DJ' part.
Sneak earned his salt back when you were still licking Momma's baking spoon. You don't last this long and garner this much attention without knowing a thing or two - and mixing is just one of those things he KNOWS.
speaking of beatmatcing issues , the cdj-2000 in one the more recent firmware updates they broke time stretching somewhat which made the pitch go unstable and hard to keep steady
This is godly.
Everyone needs a bit of DJ Sneak in their lives.
watching him play at a party is fun - he's so relaxed and at ease at the controls while working the crowd hard. thx for sharing!

It was ' the essential mix, live from t in the park scotland with DJ Sneak, richie Hawtin, and Magda (2005) Dayuuuum!!!
Still got it strong. Fell in love with his groove at Better Days 16 years ago, and the love is still strong.

Very funky! And that's what I like! No minimal, hard, metallic sounds, without melody but rather garage atmospheres as I like
Great , funky, smooth house beats ..
PRICELESS. SNAP!!!
man, vinyl is just so delicious! but CDJ's are so slick.. you just can't lose here. DJ Sneak is awesome and i love this show. cheers from Florida fellow DJ"S!

because it's a slow and subtle constant change, no surprises just a smooth set.
Don't use your eyes, listen to the whole mix and feel the groove.

Thank you so much!
Dan Tait has in my personal opinion the best summer job in the world, i envy him muchly lol

DJ Sneak keepin' true house alive! Next show play Andhim - Patty Sue (Supa Flu Remix) :) It's a party rocker. And ome to California soon!
BTW, No issues with the beat matching. He's been djing for 20 years people. It's a chicago thing, they don't care, you're not dancing anyways. If you notice it, well good, it means that you're focused and attentive. Start drinking and dancing now, smart ass.

First track is Max Duke - "Undefined time"
Can anyone shed some light on how these controls work?
I dont seem to note the 'effect' in sound when he uses these buttons and stuff?
speaking of beatmatcing issues , the cdj-2000 in one the more recent firmware updates they broke time stretching somewhat which made the pitch go unstable and hard to keep steady
