Just came here for Holi festival hunting for a recipe to make me happy. Roasted ground or whole fennel seeds would be nice to give the authentic taste of the sweet. Why the dry ingredients were so confusing and can be missed easily. Could it not be shown in small containers before dumping all in the bowl and then naming them. The end result was amazing. Yummy. Love your recettes. Thanks for taking time to teach us.
Make the dough with dholl water.. For dholl puri and thekwa ,sugar and salt should be added before grinding .. No need to add ghee...instead add fennel..
