Get rid of the targeting rule, its ruining football on all levels. Especially when these refs are so bad at their jobs they can't call it correctly

Targeting gets annoying when the defender has no other way to tackle the QB… but on this play the defender blatantly launched his head at the QB and didn’t have to at all 💀… this was the literal definition of targeting 😂 idk what auburn player was doing
@@jesselussier4854 he lunged at him with all of his upper body in case the State Qb threw a pass. they threw a flag for targeting when a WR for auburn got hit helmet to helmet, and Birmingham called it a non call. It’s not that we don’t care about protecting the players because it is important, but it’s the lack of consistency which is pissing a lot of fans off across the board.
@@stevenhubbs4033 He hit the QB in the head/neck area, launched himself like a spear. I've seen that exact same play get called for targeting more than once this year.
@@Pyg007 well it wasn’t called on Missouri this week and also a miss call way worse in the game the biggest problem is inconsistency on the call and it screws over auburn by not letting him play the 1st half of the next game
Typical Harsin team. He did this crap at Boise after inheriting a gifted team from Coach Chris Petersen. I feel bad for ya auburn folks. After your chump teams you play early to get ya excited...harsin will lead you to another losing season
