My favorite is self explosion, I use earth magic so I have the best attack size of all magic, and earth explosion + iron leg smash clears ship battles in seconds
The blast spell with max size is like the holy grail of arcane odyssey magic hybrid builds. Every conjurer, warlock, whatever you can think of will always be using it (especially in neutral) even if they don't use any other spells with their magic
Hmm, this was actually super informative! I didn't consider using Shockwave for my explosion spell on my lightning mage, though that spell doesn't do that much damage for me probably because L is for lightning. I also always tend to use minimum size because in pve my aim is pretty good, though idk if doing that on lightning is sustainable.

Crystal conjurer gives you the chance to buff basically every single weapons' skills with no drawbacks but weapon classes tend to be destroyed by mages. Crystal warlock especially with iron leg can deal massive freaking dmg, it's just that you have to rely on iron leg which is a mostly close combat fight style

As a crystal mage for snare i do duration 3 so that i can follow up with a blast, beam, or explosion and would usually do massive damage

The problem with snare is that it literally doesnt register most of the time
for some reason it doesn't like to work on the ground, but it is surprisingly consistent in the air

what does the snare hitbox actually look like? I can never seem to hit it.
Snare is somewhat close range, doesnt work when your enemy is using a skill and such, works like the rush skills you can block iy

Javelin is pretty good but only if you have a lot of size or good aim.

i dont think so, i like right hand bc it matches arcane adventures
very few casting styles matter, double beam needs wide stance for instant cast, else they will activate separately.
I like using larger light attacks,so I can keep the opponent blinded.
