Another note to add to the Texans Week 9 comeback against the Bucs is that our kicker got injured early in the game. Our backup running back, Dare Ogunbowale, had to come in and kick a field goal which was the difference in that game
As a Broncos fan, I was proud of them for what they did this season. I was at both the Commanders and Browns games and watched DTR get DESTROYED right in front of me.

A friend of mine is a die-hard Jets fan. He was all over saying they were going to the Super Bowl this year with Aaron Rodgers and that it was going to be their year. Watching the game with him that night, I saw the personification of a man's hopes and dreams die right before my eyes.
As a Jets and Giants fan, week one was all I needed to know that it was going to be a disaster of a season
The Jets are the one team in the league that I constantly forget exists.

I’m honestly shocked he didn’t talk about the multiple blowouts from the ravens. Only the lions and 49ers. What about that overtime ravens vs rams game. That was the best game of the season change my mind.
As a raiders fan I definitely expected the 3-0 Loss, the 63-21 win and the 20-14 Win against the chiefs where our QB didn’t complete a pass for 3 quarters
💯 kto messed up, we didn't get ap until 3 or 4 weeks after the chargers blow out

I’m not a fan of the 49ers, but I’m annoyed asf the chiefs won *again.* When the patriot’s dynasty ended, theirs started. It’s cool to see a team be *that* dominant and I respect them, but it gets old seeing the same team win.
I'm 90% convinced KC is about to become the first team to threepeat. If they can beat the best SF team in decades with their least impressive offense of the Mahomes era, they're pretty much snorting fairy dust and Mahomes farts at this point. And his farts probably smell like chicken nuggies.

I noticed on the week you said the Raiders blew out the chargers, that it was “one week after they fired McDaniels”, which is not true, he was fired after the week 8 game against the Lions
The Packers storyline this year was insane. That team was one missed field goal away from a Super Bowl appearance in my opinion.
The qb injuries this year have just been bizarre
He didn't even mention the Steelers 3 QBs used or Matt Canada

To me, it was poetic. You get the old cowboy back in the saddle, horse takes 4 steps and he falls off.

Teams have got to start spending more time and money on the backup QB position. Teams always go cheap but it seems to me, especially lately, those 'backups' end up playing quite a bit.
I love this concept and this should be done in other years 😁 perhaps maybe even a college football version

This whole season felt like “Any given sunday” everything felt like it was on it’s head all season.
Jets and broncos had super impressive wins AND soul crushing losses.
For some reason I thought Chubb’s injury was like week 5 or 6. I don’t know why I think it happened later than it actually did
That cj vs bucks game was a thing of beauty

Another thing about week 6 was the fact that it was the first time the Jets ever beat the Eagles

Chiefs going back to back in years where offences were down leaguewide is going to be under discussed
And the fact that it's more rare a team doesn't go back to back in a decade. It's been 20 years since it last happened. Every decade except the 2010s had a repeat winner.
The collapse of the eagles is the most shocking thing of the season by far but it could have happened to anyone

As a Jets fan this season was just complete pain with the one high of beating the Eagles.

Eagles Niners game was my absolute favorite. I loved beating the eagles as a cowboys fan, but seeing them get absolutely wrecked was amazing

Rodgers going down after just 4 plays and being out for the season in week 1 was by far the most shocking moment of the season. So much hype and expectation for the Jets all off season with ARod coming to town for it to go down the drain like that smh
I hate that the highlight of the cowboys vs lion is the ending because the drive before the “controversial” call was made, Hutchison tripped Ferguson but they called the foul on Ferguson 😭

Love how the two times colts were mentioned they were getting screwed by the refs or dropping a pass in crunch time 😭
I can do a most shocking moment from almost every game for my Hawks last year:
Week 1: The 2nd half.
Week 2: Going into overtime despite having a comfy lead with like 3 minutes left or the defense stepping up as much as they did (I didn't mind either of them though).
Week 3: Trailing at halftime and letting Andy Dalton throw for almost 400 YARDS.
Week 6: The absolute ineptitude of the offense. Every time we had the ball we said "You can have it."
Week 7: The offense's ineptitude again but we just barely did enough. It wasn't late season Eagles bad.
Week 8: Choking a 14 to 0 1st quarter lead vs the at the time (and eventually fraudulent) best defense in the league and our offense coming back from the dead and getting an AWESOME game winning play with our equally awesome throwbacks.
Week 9: I can't talk about this without getting mental pain. At least we got Mike Macdonald from this.
Week 10: Barely beating the worst defense in the league and mostly scoring JUST field goals.
Week 11: Geno coming back from an injury just for Jason Myers to miss the game winner. I couldn't trust him after that and he accidentally started the Rams run and I can never see him the same way after that.
Week 12: I can't have another Thanksgiving without thinking about the almost physical pain from this game.
Week 14: The fact that Geno came back from the elbow but couldn't come back from the groin injury. Also the fact that Drew Lock actually played really well in the first and some parts 2nd quarters.
Week 16: My Christmas almost being ruined because our defense couldn't stop even the slowest person in America.
Week 17: The missed tackles in the 1st half. We couldn't even tackle their tight ends and this was a horrible way to end 2023 and was the game that showed that Pete needed to go.
Week 18: Letting the ducking Cardinals out of all teams shred us on the ground and almost losing. Thank goodness Pete is gone.

Oh man I remember Perna being psychologically destroyed by week 2 and 3.
I kind of feel bad for Flacco having so many people discount him. Yeah he had not a great game to end the season, but man did he help that massively destroyed Browns team and helped them still play in the playoffs with like what 28 injuries? Going from signing 3-4 days before playing, he played extremely well the last how many games of the season.
No mention of the bears blowing a 14 point lead in the last 2 minutes to lose to Detroit. They had a 99% win probability at the 2 minute warning
The chargers beatdown wasnt one week after fired mcdickhead, it was a week after getting shutout by the vikings
Josh McDaniels was fired after Halloween, not in December. The shocking part of that game is that the Raiders lost 3-0 only four days prior
This was, without question, the year of the backup QB.
Had to sneak in here to say Adrian Clayborn sacked Dak 6 times in one game in 2017 and oddly enough even the NFL’s article about Mack’s 6 sack day says it hadn’t happened since 2007 but you can look up Clayborn 6 sacks and see that it did indeed happen
The Jags only being mentioned twice because they got lit up by 2 backup QBs 🔥🔥🔥
The fact that ravens didn’t run the rock is baffling . Chiefs gave up most yards on the ground this past season .

Weeks 7-10 could've all been the Vikings.
Week 7: Monday Night win against the 49ers without Justin Jefferson and when everyone picked them to lose. Also no sacks given up.
Week 8: Kirk tears his achilles.
Week 9: Jaren Hall gets concussed and Dobbs steps in to lead a game winning drive against the Falcons after being on the team for less than a week.
Week 10: Dobbs destroys the Saints in the first half.
Hopefully a better and less tense season next year for the Vikings.
