IF the guy the Bears are targeting in the first round is gone by their time to pick at 10, I’d definitely trade down to pick up some extra draft picks because we’re gonna need them to fix the offensive and defensive lines. As far as RB is concerned we can one in the 2nd or 3rd round while still focusing on fixing the trenches.
Hey Adam, long term viewer first time commenting from over in the UK. Absolutely love everything that you do with your videos and you think about all the same things as me over this roster, even if we disagree with some of the solutions. The analysis you do is phenomenal and so in depth I love it, especially when looking at college targets something it's harder to focus on across the pond. Keep up the great work!
I really appreciate the comment and thank you for tuning in! I'd love to hear a few ideas of how we differ with our similar thinking. Always open to creative ideas to bring our Bears to the title. Glad you're here 🐻⬇️
@@Beardownsports Sorry in advance for the length reply Adam! The difference aren't huge. I believe if we can't get Abdul Carter, Mason Graham or Will Campbell at 10 which is unlikely, then it has be a trade down. I would go as far back as I needed to get another 2nd. I see the FA DTs getting overpaid as there are not many good ones on the market so would avoid them. There are 4 above average Edges that would fit Allen's system in FA (Mack, Sweat, Reddick and Young) I would take any. IOL is the same as Edge, I love Smith and Zeitler and then there are 3-4 free agents that are above average starters (Becton, Banks, Fries or bring back Jenkins) who could be brought in on option deals like Nate Davis, so we can get out if they don't perform. Although I would love Trey Smith, I see FA as raising the floor of the roster and the draft allows for gambles on the ceiling, so if I could get Jenkins and Zeitler for the same price as Smith, I'm probably going Jenkins and Zeitler. Zeitlers age/tevens lack of availability would then be addressed with the draft below. Coleman Shelton is a must resign for me, even if just to be a stop gap centre for the next couple of years. FA would therefore fill all our starter gaps bar NT. Dream Draft would therefore be: Trade 10 to Bengals for 17 and 49 (maybe more) Pick 17: Walter Nolen (my DT2, great run stopper and still has loads of growth/potential) Pick 39: Milum/Zrabel/Booker/Jackson whoever is still there and we like best Pick 41: Umanielen, Sawyer and JTT are my favourites but again whoever we like best Pick 49: Kaleb Johnson (is it because he was Iowa's offence last year or is it because his name is a mix of our QB and our HC, nobody knows!) Pick 72: IOL- Tate Ratledge is a name I am not seeing enough in any draft talk Pick 142: Luke Lachey, has there been a bad TE out of Iowa?
Roster building is one of my favorite parts of the NFL season(offseason), and content like this gets me geeked. I LOVE the idea of drafting both Wyatt Milum and Armand Membou!!! To me, they're high level/versatile prospects that can add value immediately. Building the OL is essential for a young QB. I'm encouraged that Ben Johnson seems to feel the same way. Bear down!
Hey Adam. Love your mock drafts. The possibilities are endless! Who knows? I see Ryan Poles being a bit more aggressive this off-season compared to the previous ones. With Ben Johnson coming in as the new Head Coach, him and Poles might be up to taking more risks, in order to ensure they are getting guys that fit Ben Johnson's vision for this team.
Addison West is from my home town!!! We are same age and I played junior levels - high school with him. He was the heart and mauler for our triple threat offense that won IL state chip in 2018. I haven’t kept in touch nor follow college sports. Crazy for me to see his name come up here
@@TheRealFlash23 if you listened to it and watched it, you'd see right after that I didn't change the 72 to 91 on the next screen but I took a pick at 72 and then 91. Or, did I just skip over pick 91 and forget about it 👀
Trading down for more draft capital is best done when involving getting future draft picks. This is an actual MOCK DRAFT that I did in a draft simulator: MOCK DRAFT with picking up Trey Smith and Khalil Mack in free agency: Traded all Bears 2026 picks plus Pick #41 for Pick #11 then traded down many times to get 4 2026 2nd round picks and 2 2026 3rd round picks. Pick #10: Ashton Jeanty RB Pick #39: Wyatt Milum OG Pick #53: Aireontae Ersery OT Pick #63: Kevin Winston Jr S Pick #87: Alfred Collins DT Pick #95: Jared Wilson OC 2026 GB 2nd 2026 LAC 2nd 2026 MIN 2nd 2026 TB 2nd 2026 GB 3rd 2026 HOU 3rd
Guess how many Bears OL starters had BETTER pass block grades on PFF than their Lions OL starter counterparts. All of them. Every single starter on the Bears finished with a higher pass block grade on PFF than did their Lions counterpart. Adam, I’m sure this is not a shock to you as you’ve been perhaps the only TH-camr banging the drum that this unit is not nearly as bad as we think it is. Now, how about the PFF run block grades? Well, at LT, LG, and RT the Bears either rank higher or hold their own. The major difference is at C and RG - and there is a MAJOR delta there. It’s really these two positions that create the difference in overall OL grades between the two teams on PFF, which has the Lions at 4th and the Bears at 24th. We can debate how much the correct the grades for what they believe is Caleb holding the ball too long (definitely a factor) and I don’t know how the consider the times Caleb helps the OL with his legs, such as Mohomes does, in ways that Goff cannot. Since these are as far as I can tell unknown factors, let’s just work with the PFF grades. I have seen you routinely suggesting the Bears sign Kevin Zeitler and I think that’s borderline vital. He’s old, but reliable and has at least prepared to play Center rotationally (see NYG, 2020) so there’s a bit of added flexibility there. I’ve also seen you routinely suggest they resign Teven Jenkins and, again, I fully agree with this. Will Fries is another Guard who seemed to really come into his own last year prior to his injury and should cost in about the same neighborhood as Jenkins so I could be talked into that option if Jenkins is disgruntled, which seems possible. Now, what I suggest we do from here is something I haven’t seen you discuss in your videos (at least recently). We should look to sign Drew Dalman at Center and not bring back Coleman Shelton. The projected salary difference is approximately an additional $6.5mil/yr. Dalman has ranked near the top of the league’s Centers for three of his four years in the league and has been very good at run blocking (ranked 4th this year). I would love to see you do this in one of your offseason projections. I personally think a line of Jones, Jenkins, Dalman, Zeitler, and Wright would be immensely better. The draft is also important here. If it’s Will Campbell at number 10, he can learn from Zeitler for a year IF everyone stays healthy (not realistic) and otherwise he should provide high-end depth at G or T when called upon. I also think the OL free-agent signings I suggested gives more flexibility IF you find someone like Mason Graham slips or one of the EDGE guys become a must-draft. The two second-rounders really allow for flexibility in what you do at 10 in this scenario as you can look for two DL if you draft Campbell or one OL if you go DL at 10. I know this is a loooooong comment, but it’s something I’ve been thinking about a lot and wanted to get it out. I’ll end it with a question: how much do you feel competent play calling helps an offensive line? We don’t seem to talk about that much. We seem to at least consider the impact of play calling on the performance of every other offensive and defensive position, but we don’t seem to do that with the offensive line. To me, simply having the mind of Ben Johnson calling plays will elevate the performance of our OL (assuming he is who we think he is). Thank you for the content!
I am absolutely with you on not taking jaenty in the first. That would be a dumb move with all of the teams need. Plus u can find killer rb's in later rounds anyway. I also think the safety you were talking about, his physical traits makes me want him for that alone. He is freakish physically for that position. Bear down guys
Double down would be beyond crazy and BALLZY! I get it 100% and would be super pumped as you but I don’t think Poles does that with his job on the line. Yes it would be best for the team in the long run, but with Poles on the hot seat… I love the fact you showed the albino Aiden hutchinson some love! I really think that dude could be a real stud in the league and would fit DaBears not just scheme wise but he has an alpha mentality that just screams Chicago Bear. You can tell that he carried the defense 100% of the time and it showed big time this year. Even when hurt, he showed up and helped his team. The one big change I would do if possible would change out Membu for Donovan Jackson. I would love to see him develop and play C. Having Wyatt at LG, Jackson at C, Trey Smith RG, and Wright at RT could be the best OLine for years. I think the versatility of Jackson is overall better and would have a higher ceiling. Could you envision Jackson playing C and learning behind Shelton? Great video as always man 🐻⬇️
I would be happy to do 1 trade down to maybe 15-22 and pick up another 2nd rounder. My goal would be to get the best combination of DT, DE and IOL/OT with those first 4 picks.
These are the nerdy scenarios that one does on the various mock draft apps. Though in realty, the biggest obstacle to such scenarios is finding willing trade partners who are so enamored with a particular player, especially in a draft without much depth at QB. It's really hard to see other teams willing to give up much draft capital to move up that many spots for Ashton Jeanty or any other player in this draft. Other teams know this a deep RB class and that other running backs (e..g Hampton & Johnson) may be better than Jeanty.
James Pearce Jr. is going to be our first pick he is a top 10 pick in the draft. Wyatt Milum our second pick in the draft Princely Umanmielen is our third draft pick. Deone Walker is our fourth draft pick. We should take a Center with our fifth draft pick. Running back is our sixth draft pick. No trade down for Da Bears
@Dlo-r5x oh, I completely agree with you. I've proposed him several times as our pick at 10. Not only nasty, but he still sets the edge and defends against the run. He's a day 1 starter
Interested in how Johnson evaluates (RB) Roschon, (TE) Everett and (WR) Tyler Scott...I think all 3 have been under utilized...I'd rather put all my resources into setting up the oline and dline before investing in skill positions. This team is still 2-3 years away before they can hunt for a Superbowl.
I agree we need to trade back if not double trade back. We need IOL! Those players are not going in the top 20 normally if even the first round. Load up in the 2nd and 3rd round if possible and fill in the trenches. The blue chip DL players will also be gone by 10. But it us a deep class for talent that can be developed.
Overall great stuff as usual. Im not convinced with Braxton Jones at LT. He still cant stop bull rush, which i thought is something he would have gotten better at after his rookie campaign. Get a stud LT and have Braxton as a swing T, which is also a need on this roster
I doubt if Braxton doesn't work out that we resign him to be our swing tackle, but if he has a year like this one, someone will pay him $15-$20MM just like he outperformed Alaric Jackson and people are saying he's about to get paid. Might contribute to comp picks later 🤷♂️
I like the idea of trading down twice to acquire more skillful players. More money for skilled value free agents 👏🐻⬇️ having a offseason with better coaches & champion culture can work itself too.
Hey Adam! It’s been awhile since my last message. It’s the offseason and the fun is happening. In a perfect world, I have the Bears trading down twice from 10th and selecting Walter Nolen or Tyler Booker. I’ve based my two mocks on the prospect of signing Trey Smith or not. I also have the Bears resigning Tevin and Coleman Shelton. Both mocks reflect with d line and o line emphasis. Your channel is awesome. Go Bears 🐻
I love both Walter Nolen and Tyler Booker. I like both of those scenarios. This video isn't so much about the likelihood of that happening (2x trade down) because I don't think it's likely, it's more of showing a huge "class" on where the Bears are with their roster building and the Salary Cap. It should be interesting to see how well received this one is. Thanks for tuning in 🐻⬇️
I agree with the trade down. If they keep the 10th I still want Jeanty. I’m not a shiny new toy type of guy. The thinking is that there isn’t an elite Olineman available there… or an Edge….. you’d have to reach filling either one of those positions. Jeanty is a game changer and the unquestionably best in what you and many call a deep RB class. So if he’s the best at that position and he can affect the game with 15-20+ touches a game…. Johnson likes elite RB’s, they might just take him.
I simply do not believe Ashton Jeanty is the best RB in this class. He can't move laterally like other RB's in this class. He's way too hyped up. No thank you to any scenario where we take a RB in the 1st round. Give me an overdrafted player first.
@ laterally lol. We have been watching different films. Hype doesn’t come with the numbers and film to back it up usually 🤷♂️ love your content!! Agree to disagree but the Jeanty hate is unbecoming 😂
@markDwattssr it's not hate at all. He does not move laterally like a superstar would. He can run through Mac truck sized holes and run someone over, but he's not going to get 80% arm tackles from weak competition in the NFL My analysis is 100% sound here. He'll be a fine, average, Leonard Fournette RB. Taken way too high and not worth a 1st rounder. Leonard Fournette and Rashaad Penny are my comps for him and they are perfect comps. He's not Omarion Hampton, Either Ohio State Running Back, Kaleb Johnson, or even Dylan Sampson. It's a hell of a year to need a running back, but someone's going to make a huge mistake by taking Ashton Jeanty way too early.
@ I can’t just ignore the lateral quickness issue here…. Because to put it plainly there isn’t one. I’ve watched a lot of film on this kid and I see elite lateral quickness, elite contact balance, he runs with elite power along with elite vision. He played against some really bad teams, he also played against some good teams. He dominated all competition. He slices and dices through defenses and finds small creases, not Mack truck sized holes, although there was certainly plenty of that too. I even tried to be objective and find even one opinion in all the football world that says he has some issue with lateral quickness or any other glaring issue for that matter that somehow I missed on film…… needless to say you’re the only person with that opinion. Whatever your issue with Jeanty is, it isn’t lateral quickness.
Another great vid, thanks Adam. What does next years draft look like strength wise. Could we go down then improve our later picks using next years picks. This then gives you talent now for Ben to work with instead of waiting a year and using a valuable year of Calebs contract. Thoughts?
QB class is super strong WR's are as well Offensive Tackle CB's ... Honestly I need to go review who stayed and who is going to the draft and reanalyze it but those were the strengths I saw before
This would be something if it happened. I love the improvements on the lines and getting very talented RB's and WR's. Has Poles ever traded down? How many times has he traded up. Maybe the next mock should be a very slight trade down on pick 10 and include Ian Cunningham pick. Maybe trading away one 2026 pick or 2, like one third and maybe even a second would be interesting. I say trade down just a little because I am not sure he has ever traded down. Bear Down!
Traded up for Stevenson Traded down a few times late in his first draft with how dire our roster was Traded down from 1 to 9 and 9 to 10 in the famous 2023 draft
Thanks on that. I do not think he will trade down, but I would be happy to be wrong. Maybe trading a couple of 2026 picks could be huge for us in this draft
@@johnbierwaczonek2911 I don't think he trades down either. I even mention at the start of the video this is more about sharing the salary cap and our deep needs. What I think he will do is take Best Player Available, but I'll be freaking excited if we trade down
Donovan Jackson has to be one of their picks, Koonce would be cheaper & younger than Mack. Insane picking Jackson over Princely, Hufuaga on a prove it deal instead of drafting a safety in the 2nd rd. Then a backup at #55 overall, you have to get guys who'll fight for starting positions in the first 2 rounds, not a guy you want to playa new position & begin at his secondary position. Then you draft a starting Center, the same position you want to change your 2nd Rd pick to???Sampson is the only guy I'd draft where you you got him. This is a typical Bears draft, no difference makers or game changers! Passed on starters to create depth, great plan..
@@Beardownsports I love him to complement Swift. Look, if we upgrade the OL sufficiently (see my comment on this video for what I would do to the OL if I were king of the world) there's no reason Swift couldn't produce very similarly to what he did in 2022 under Ben Johnson. That year he had 99 carries for 543 yds (5.5 ypc) and tallied 48 rec for 389 yds (8.1 avg). If Ben Johnson is capable of the things we believe he is, he should be able to scheme up something similar to maximize a player he's extremely familiar with. As you remember, that year they complemented Swift with Jamaal Williams who had 262 carries for 1,066 yds (4.1 avg). He didn't do much in the receiving game but was a hard-nosed runner, a role Skattebo more than embodies. The one major difference is Skattebo is excellent in the receiving game where Williams only had 16 targets all year. Williams is now a bigger back but was drafted at 6'0", 212 pounds and his 40-time was 4.59. All of these numbers are right in line with Skattebo (for whatever the numbers are worth, that is).
Do not sign Elijah Moore! He’s the most selfish locker room cancer in the NFL. My family are all jets fans who actually cheered when they traded him to Cleveland for a bag of chips. Anytime someone trades a talented player despite being on a rookie contract is a huge red flag 🚩
We need Campbell/Banks one of those cats. Lot of RBs this year, so please no Ashton Jeanty. Praying we can land Trey Smith. Let’s see how the coaching staff develops in the off season.
One thing i know about teams that trade up us that there has to be an absolute exceptional player that they need to get. Mainly team are willing to trade up for a QB or a top edge rusher. Whoever it is has to be considered a near generational talent if its in the 1st round. We saw eagles trade up for jalen carter. Ashton genty looks like a generational guy that several teams might really want and he most likely should be drafted around where the bears pick (10-14). Once again the football gods are with the bears. There is no QB worth trading up for at that 10 spot so Bears are so damn lucky they can trade #10 that normally they might not be able to any other year. I actually agree with trading down at least once only cause i love getting landon jackson later. Jackson actually beat out kelvin banks jr!!! Watch the highlights of arkansas vs texas. And i wouldn’t mind getting skattebo in the 3rd round. We would pick up an extra 2nd or 3rd depending on how far we trade down that #10 pick. That would be huge to get all the linemen we need on both sides!! PS. I rather get Tyler booker with that first pick
I’m not sure poles drops bates unless his injury issues are still an issue come training camp at the earliest especially since we need lineman. So some of the free agents are going to be gone probably
I think you're completely right. And if he's completely healthy, then great! But if that should lingers at all, don't mess with it, cut him and get someone dependable
You know you’re addicted when you put in PTO at work for the legal tampering period in free agency and the draft!! Poles has a chance to right his wrongs this offseason. Bear Down!
I like the first tradedown to 22! The second tradedown not so much! Then take better edge than jackson at 22, at 39 & 41, take another guard and DT tyliek williams, at 55 S emanwori or malaki starks, and @ 73 C Jared Wilson. After that, I like the Tuten pick or you know ɓetter what to do re running backsi
I love ur vids I watch em on all my TH-cam profiles Anywho I liked ur idea of tutu atwell over Elijah Moore I just don’t think Moore can take our wr room to the next level but atwell can imo
You're right this probably wouldn't happen. Simply because of Poles being in the last year of his contract. The cries of "how many pro-bowlers" did Poles draft can be heard. I feel he's gonna play it safe in the draft and try to get a real "blue-chipper" with that 10th pick and then just look for best available after that.
I get what you’re saying about depth but I feel like we need to make our number 1 priority getting Trey smith and drew dalman in free agency. I’m tired of signing all these mediocre/project players. We need top end talents. I do like trading down though
Milum could be day one starter imo. Hate Landon, would rather have Princely. Nothing wrong drafting a S with one of the early picks due to the Brisker situation. Dylan Sampson could be a diamond in the rough in the later rounds. Also like Raheem Sanders too in the later rounds.
What do you think of EQ ST. Brown telling Ben Johnson to call him? Did he have the drops issue when here the first time, it seems like it but it could have been someone else when he was here.
He's never been a drops issue Mooney had some bad drops his last year. EQ was a great blocker, but seems to struggle getting open. Lack of effort, bad route running, too slow? I really don't know the answer
They don't understand how hard of a position it is and expect the Bears to have the best in the league overnight. Braxton definitely hasn't earned an extension, but he's played so well, there's no way we roll into next year with any other option. It would be the worst decision.
If they sign kevin zietler and mechki becton to play guards they will come out cheaper to help the cap then u can try to get the center dalmon from atlanta or the colts center, if this happens they can draft jeanty in the 1st round because Ben Jonhson is gonna want a stud rb, but i also like Omarion Hampton so i wouldnt be mad if they took a LT in the 1st round but i dont think cambell is that good i like josh Simmons as the best LT but hes injured so i think there gonna take jeanty
Only 1 running back drafted. We can sign league minimum wr- running backs. And we still need a solid #2 TE paired with kmet I like Jonas S or the Purdue tackle as a guard center option. We need as many Round 2-4 picks as possible. May need a trade up to fill our needs May be able to get a solid running back in round 6-or 7.. there are over 20 option that will play a role in this draft
I like Jeanty, don't get me wrong, but there are a number of other RBs I like a lot better than him. Omarion Hampton, Kaleb Johnson, Devin Neal, DJ Giddens, and Damian Martinez, just to name a few.
Can't see Harbaugh trading up for Jeanty...he's still rebuilding the Chargers and Jeanty fumbles way too much, plus he can get Hampton at 22 if he wants. I think a trade back with the Cowboys is possible since they hired Schottenheimer who is a run first coach, but you won't get much value going back 2 spots.
I love these trade down scenarios for entertainment purposes only... Let me tell you why. Ryan Poles needs to be presented with the best possible players in the current draft positions that we have. Any deviation from that and this dude will most likely screw up. 3 years and no o-line...
Nobody knows that until Feb/Mar, but this includes the cap going up on the higher end of what everyone is projecting. The high end of expectation is $275MM It was $255 last year So that is included here
Nah stick with your top ten pick we need elite players not just good ones. We traded for Mack and gave all those first round picks up so we need to bring in top picks. 4 top 10 players in three years is big stop trading away our picks and mocking that. Get a left tackle so we have bookends and get that line fixed. We already have 3 picks in the top 50 plus a third. We also have plenty of cap space…
The Bears only gave up 2 1st round picks (2019 -#24 overall and 2020 - #19 overall) plus a 3rd round pick in 2020 and a 6th rd pick in 2019. The Raiders got it right in '19 taking Josh Jacobs, they got it wrong in '20 taking Damon Arnette (massive bust). How likely do you think the Bears would have actually taken Justin Jefferson, who went to MIN at #22? Maybe if Stan Thomas was available that year, the Bears would have drafted him again.
I don't think it'll be many trade downs in this year draft. Those top 5 players(Carter, Graham, Hunter, Ward, Will Johnson) no one is trading of those players.
@@Raykidd34 depends on the team need There's always a team that wants their guy, it's just... Do they want to pay for a DE, CB, S, OT and jump up or sit it out. Seattle could easily trade up for Banks or Campbell
taking two rbs and having roschon and wheeler, could trade swift for a 3rd to a team that needs a back. BJ must not of liked him in Detroit, only played a year there.
Maybe 🤷♂️ I'm less likely to think we draft Skattebo with his 4.68 speed now that we have Ben Johnson. That's why I went with quicker backs that both have solid contact balance
@Beardownsports I can see that. Personally, 4.6 is just fine for a change of pace bruiser who will get the tough yards. He is smart and plays with alot of heart.
This will be unpopular with the >30M Bear fans who want to replace Braxton Jones or draft Ashton Jeanty, but I really think the Bears should TRADE DOWN and draft the BEST INTERIOR OL … Tyler Booker.

The difference aren't huge. I believe if we can't get Abdul Carter, Mason Graham or Will Campbell at 10 which is unlikely, then it has be a trade down. I would go as far back as I needed to get another 2nd.

Coleman Shelton is a must resign for me, even if just to be a stop gap centre for the next couple of years.
FA would therefore fill all our starter gaps bar NT.
Dream Draft would therefore be:
Trade 10 to Bengals for 17 and 49 (maybe more)
Pick 17: Walter Nolen (my DT2, great run stopper and still has loads of growth/potential)
Pick 39: Milum/Zrabel/Booker/Jackson whoever is still there and we like best
Pick 41: Umanielen, Sawyer and JTT are my favourites but again whoever we like best
Pick 49: Kaleb Johnson (is it because he was Iowa's offence last year or is it because his name is a mix of our QB and our HC, nobody knows!)
Pick 72: IOL- Tate Ratledge is a name I am not seeing enough in any draft talk
Pick 142: Luke Lachey, has there been a bad TE out of Iowa?
Excellent strategy.

@@TheRealFlash23 if you listened to it and watched it, you'd see right after that I didn't change the 72 to 91 on the next screen but I took a pick at 72 and then 91.
Or, did I just skip over pick 91 and forget about it 👀
@@Beardownsports You're right. It was pick 91 later in the video. It just looked bad at first drafting a RB with no draft pick.
Trading down for more draft capital is best done when involving getting future draft picks. This is an actual MOCK DRAFT that I did in a draft simulator:
MOCK DRAFT with picking up Trey Smith and Khalil Mack in free agency:
Traded all Bears 2026 picks plus Pick #41 for Pick #11 then traded down many times to get 4 2026 2nd round picks and 2 2026 3rd round picks.
Pick #10: Ashton Jeanty RB
Pick #39: Wyatt Milum OG
Pick #53: Aireontae Ersery OT
Pick #63: Kevin Winston Jr S
Pick #87: Alfred Collins DT
Pick #95: Jared Wilson OC
2026 GB 2nd
2026 LAC 2nd
2026 MIN 2nd
2026 TB 2nd
2026 GB 3rd
2026 HOU 3rd
This is just not realistic at all
Stuff like this breaks it down for the average fan.Who doesn't know salary cap and all that? Was very informative and I appreciate it.Keep a comment

Bear Down
Guess how many Bears OL starters had BETTER pass block grades on PFF than their Lions OL starter counterparts.
LETS GO I love Dylan Sampson
You're right, finding a trade partner will be a real challenge.
As I said, this likely won't happen, it's more to inform
Thanks for watching 🐻⬇️
Love this direction big time! Stack as much talent and let Ben do his magic
Exactly
I am always a fan of stocking top 100 picks!!
Me too! Especially when the board is loaded like this!

Dennis Allen likes bigger DE's though
@Beardownsports 6'5 245 bruh he could add five pounds easy. This guy is nasty.
Agree 100%
Throw Kmet in that conversation and remember Ian Wheeler is a speedy bruiser too
I agree we need to trade back if not double trade back. We need IOL! Those players are not going in the top 20 normally if even the first round. Load up in the 2nd and 3rd round if possible and fill in the trenches. The blue chip DL players will also be gone by 10. But it us a deep class for talent that can be developed.
Great work Adam 🐻⬇
🐻⬇️
Hey Adam great work 👍. I was wondering if you could do a video of ur top 3 players at every position of need that would be a good fit.
I'm putting something similar to that but more specific to where we'll be drafting.
Thanks for tuning in 🐻⬇️
Nick Scourton is the Edge we need and he should be there in the 2nd
Overall great stuff as usual. Im not convinced with Braxton Jones at LT. He still cant stop bull rush, which i thought is something he would have gotten better at after his rookie campaign. Get a stud LT and have Braxton as a swing T, which is also a need on this roster
I doubt if Braxton doesn't work out that we resign him to be our swing tackle, but if he has a year like this one, someone will pay him $15-$20MM just like he outperformed Alaric Jackson and people are saying he's about to get paid.
Might contribute to comp picks later 🤷♂️
Bhayshul tuten I just watched his tape 😮 he is a steal good pick !!!
I've watched too much film on this classes RB's
There are so many good options
Thanks for tuning in
🐻⬇️
He can run through Mac truck sized holes and run someone over, but he's not going to get 80% arm tackles from weak competition in the NFL
My analysis is 100% sound here.
I like it! Maybe another WR over 5th OL.
Another great vid, thanks Adam. What does next years draft look like strength wise. Could we go down then improve our later picks using next years picks. This then gives you talent now for Ben to work with instead of waiting a year and using a valuable year of Calebs contract. Thoughts?
QB class is super strong
WR's are as well
Offensive Tackle
CB's
Bear Down!
Traded up for Stevenson
Traded down a few times late in his first draft with how dire our roster was
Traded down from 1 to 9 and 9 to 10 in the famous 2023 draft
Thanks on that. I do not think he will trade down, but I would be happy to be wrong. Maybe trading a couple of 2026 picks could be huge for us in this draft
Has Poles ever traded down? LMAO, Bro if you don't follow the team, it's ok.
@@johnbierwaczonek2911 I don't think he trades down either. I even mention at the start of the video this is more about sharing the salary cap and our deep needs.
What I think he will do is take Best Player Available, but I'll be freaking excited if we trade down
You have done great trading down let’s see you trade up and get the Bears some pro bowlers !
Well, then we're not getting any pro bowlers in free agency because we need to get 15 players at $4 MM a contract and can't afford the superstars
Something close might happen if Johnson has a vision of long time success. GO BEARS AND BEAR DOWN 🐻 ❤❤❤
Donovan Jackson has to be one of their picks, Koonce would be cheaper & younger than Mack.
I really want Kam Skattabo 🐻 👇🏾
Does his slow speed worry you.
I love his contact balance and where he could be drafted later, but he's not gonna run away from anyone
Need to included kyler gordons extension. He is getting extended this off-season so that plays apart into salary cap
It could. They could extend him without including money this year and still giving him a bonus to allocate to the future. But I think we do extend him
We need Campbell/Banks one of those cats.
Bear Down!
Hahaha
It's a sickness. I'm just glad I'm learning I'm not the only one that has it
I like the first tradedown to 22!
If he's available at Pick 39, you get Mike Green from Marshall at Edge.
I'm good with him at 72
I love ur vids I watch em on all my TH-cam profiles
Anywho I liked ur idea of tutu atwell over Elijah Moore I just don’t think Moore can take our wr room to the next level but atwell can imo
I hear ya
And we need to end talent for sure.
Trey Smith would be amazing to land. We'll have a parade before a game is even played 🤣
Landon is more likely the type of DE that Dennis Allen would like to use. I wonder if he'll work with Dom Rob before his contract is up too...
Kaleb Johnson and cam skatteboooooo are my backs
I LOVE IT
🐻⬇️
Hopefully pick up a 3rd for Cunningham if he gets Jacksonville GM Gig and possibly grab a 3rd or 4th for Keenan Allen leaving as well.
If we sign a big free agent, we won't get anything for Allen leaving
I would trade down if my guy Will Campbell isn't on the board anymore. But I'm a guy that would never draft a RB in round one.
The salary cap will also be adjusted up.
This is adjusted up $20MM to $275MM
What do you think of EQ ST. Brown telling Ben Johnson to call him? Did he have the drops issue when here the first time, it seems like it but it could have been someone else when he was here.
He's never been a drops issue
Mooney had some bad drops his last year.
EQ was a great blocker, but seems to struggle getting open. Lack of effort, bad route running, too slow? I really don't know the answer
@@Beardownsports Thanks
I think signing Josh Sweat is a little better option... plus he's younger
Please explain why bears fans want Braxton gone? I think he is just fine. Why waist first round pick on LT? I really don't understand.
Still can't draft Jeanty in that scenario
Way too many needs with way too little cap space
I’m not crazy about picking a RB in the 1st, BUT IF we get Tre Smith and resign Tevin, I’m all about taking him in the 1st.
This sounds like a great idea but do we really trust The Pole to make the right decisions in the draft?
I'm hoping so with Ben Johnson.
I'm hoping Ben aligns with Dan Campbell's trade downs with his 1st round picks
Only 1 running back drafted. We can sign league minimum wr- running backs. And we still need a solid #2 TE paired with kmet
I like Jonas S or the Purdue tackle as a guard center option. We need as many Round 2-4 picks as possible. May need a trade up to fill our needs
May be able to get a solid running back in round 6-or 7.. there are over 20 option that will play a role in this draft
man, you did this last year, where you traded multiple times and poles did not listen.
Don’t like the 3rd pick on safety agreed it might be a need with brisker but think the first 4 picks should be oline or dline
I can see that point
wmmenwari is a 1st round talent to me though
@ yeah never mind watched his Highlights homeboy can ball
The caps going up 20 mil next season if im not mistaken
Nobody knows that until Feb/Mar, but this includes the cap going up on the higher end of what everyone is projecting. The high end of expectation is $275MM
It was $255 last year
So that is included here
From now on if you talk about Wyatt Milum please tell eveybody it my fav prospect
Done
I would love to get him
What about Mekhai Becton from the Eagles, will he be a free agent?
I don't think the Eagles will let him get to free agency. But if they do, I like him at a value contract
You never cover the undrafted free agents likely to be left over. Who would you sign after he draft?
Some of these guys in the 7th round I take are projected as UDFA, which is why I put them in the 7th
Very unlikely, that they are trading down, but the haul sounds great lol
Nah stick with your top ten pick we need elite players not just good ones. We traded for Mack and gave all those first round picks up so we need to bring in top picks. 4 top 10 players in three years is big stop trading away our picks and mocking that. Get a left tackle so we have bookends and get that line fixed. We already have 3 picks in the top 50 plus a third. We also have plenty of cap space…
Watch the video
We actually don't. There's some things I can help people understand about the salary cap and draft value.
Literally no left tackle is worth a top 10 pick rn
@@thebroglefamily3992 maybe Josh Simmons if he's fully recovered from his injury.
@@davek7892 I can see that but he would probably be there at 20 too
The Bears only gave up 2 1st round picks (2019 -#24 overall and 2020 - #19 overall) plus a 3rd round pick in 2020 and a 6th rd pick in 2019.
Most of our O line are depth players😂
Your second double down won’t happen. But I agree loads of talent hear at DL and RB
NO way Georgia Center Wilson available at 124! He’s Top 100 pick with limited centers in this draft.
One year starting.
Very few analysts have him going 3rd round with the half dozen players that can move into Center that are more elite
Everett and Bates still need to go! Draft a TE in the draft. Get rid of the undependable players!!🐻👇🏼
Good Mock draft, but most likely ain't going to happen!! A Great wish list !!!
I agree, it's not likely. It's about having a good vision for roster building though.

Are you uploading a video soon
Probably tomorrow
Had a ton of family things this weekend

I don't think it'll be many trade downs in this year draft. Those top 5 players(Carter, Graham, Hunter, Ward, Will Johnson) no one is trading of those players.
But I also don't think any of those 5 will be available at 10
@Beardownsports who else would a team be willing to trade up to to draft?
@@Raykidd34 depends on the team need
There's always a team that wants their guy, it's just... Do they want to pay for a DE, CB, S, OT and jump up or sit it out.
Seattle could easily trade up for Banks or Campbell
Awe dude do one where u don't resign enyone ..lol .Ben's clearinghouse
taking two rbs and having roschon and wheeler, could trade swift for a 3rd to a team that needs a back. BJ must not of liked him in Detroit, only played a year there.
Da bears will draft ,banks kt
Creative "banks it"

Note: possible 3rd round draft pick if we lose Cunningham
Yes! And we need it. That would be hige
I would trade a 6th and a 7th and move back into the 5th.
If there's the right player there, I'm all for it
@ Adam Mason Dennis Allen is on his way!!!!!!
Yeah guys! I love it
What about Skattebo at 72 and Tez Johnson at 90?
Maybe 🤷♂️
I'm less likely to think we draft Skattebo with his 4.68 speed now that we have Ben Johnson.
I'm not about popular here, I'm about giving well though out, realistic takes to help inform.
So you fit right in... And you're right!

@ Except when Larry Borom was on the field, fatal pressure on Caleb came up through the middle. Caleb’s elusiveness allows him to avoid most DEs.

Yup! I mentioned it in the live chat but had a brain fart while recording. Sometimes it's better for me to flow than pause and interrupt to look it up.
Appreciate you! 🐻⬇️
The bears should resign Jenkins, pick up a G in free agency. Don’t overpay in free agency for 2 G.
You lost me when you said 22 down to 27 for a 3rd and 4th. No one makes that trade. No one you would get a 3rd as comp for going 22 to 27.
🤔
Now I'm really curious to see what you say the value is. Please, enlighten us...
