I hope that every native speaker speak english like you. I can totally understand your english. You speak on exact prounciation and proper speed. But some people speak so fast especially young people. I cannot understand their speaking. It's my concern.
About ricochet, I confirm it's French. It's also a game: you through stones in water (a lake, the sea...) and try to make them bounce as many as you can. "On fait des ricochets".
Hi Bob,your lessons are very helpful, we're getting better in English because of you, thank you a lot,so I would like to know how many kilometers are from Toronto to Ontario .
After leaving in USA for 10 years… I found the most difficult word to pronounce is “aquarium”….still cannot say it right! could you plz help! Thank you Bob for the video! Wish you and your family a wonderful holiday break! Happy new year!🎊 🎉
As québécois, those words come no doubt from french : rural, bouquet, queue, unique, fluorescent, silhouette, ricochet, about stethoscope in french we have an "é" stéthoscope and with comfortable, "n" instead of "m", confortable. Happy New Year! 🙂
Hello Sir Bob I hope you doing well after a very long time I rejoined you from this channel. I am from Pakistan love the way you teach but I couldn't continue a big problem any program join and can't continue it and join next one please suggest what to do? Best wishes for you. I see a lot of your content in your strat days but after long time today find you nice to see you a lot of respect for you Respectable Sir❤.
Thanks Bob! For me, the most difficult word among these is sixth. Instead I have always found it easy to say squirrel, perhaps because it matches the phonetics of my native language, try to say 'quisquiglia' 😅
Record 74:stethoscope,squirrel,rural,sixth,comfortable,bouquet,subtle,Wednesday,Toronto,espresso,mischievous,sherbet,translucent,queue,choir,drought,scissors,silhoette,silhouette,qnique,clothes,knead,ricochet,fluorescent,pneumonia,receipt,February,penguin

Bonne année !

A wink from france

I used to know that subtle means not very noticeable; not very strong or bright
But here it's explained that it's just a little bit 😳

Espresso and cappuccino are very easy for me, as I'm from Italy 😅
💯❤
Thanks Bob! Iconic words for russian speakers are "bicycle"[BiKuKle] and "language"[LaNGuAGe] 😂
Is it necessary to add THE before sixTH?
Queue is much british but it's quite understandable.

What I hear is “stuff a scope” is that right?
- Why polar bears do not eat penguins?
- They just can not find them!
- Oh, penguins are definitely the masters of disguise!!!
ahí I have a question why english uses these (-) betwen words for example
One-by-one
There are more but in this moment I dont remember
Hi master..my name is yasseen ..iam from iraq..I am studying English..i need to talke with you for a 5 minute.. is there any way?
I used to pronounce "choir" like "chaw ear" 🤣🤣🤡🤦♂
To me for ” choir “, the “ch” still pronounce as “k”but “o” pronounce as “u”…”o “is the confusing part😂

Poor squirrels 😮 how can you do that?!?
I missed "miscellaneous" in your list.
I always have scissors in every room .
Bob Please comment why those who live in North America say America to say that it is their country, where did that idea come from?
For me is impossible to say "tooth", "teeth" , "toothache" 😔
.
Hi Bob, I find that "sherbet" /ˈʃɜː.bət/ is the British pronunciation and i don't think your parents are wrong about it. Thx for sharing.
❤

Thanks teacher
