Hi Grant. Just found your channel in the last 3 days and watched every video. Brilliant work. It’s giving me loads of ideas for as and when I tackle a loft layout. Will look forward to future updates. Nice one.

Decent storage yard but I take my hat off to you for getting the gradients in while navigating all the beams and all sorts of obstacles! That's nuts. Your alot more talented than me! It's looking great. Clint

Thanks Clint but i'm not sure how much talent was involved, there's been a good few errors & "re-do's"!

That looks really good Grant and the LK200 seems to be a nice bit of kit to aid operation. Nice to see trackwork on the station again after the big clear up. Would love to see the view on the opposite side of the camera, you pile all the odds and ends there out of sight? 😂 Paul

Haha, thanks Paul! Yes, it's really just a case of constantly moving stuff around, i need to have a proper clearout!

That works great! You're gonna have plenty of fun with that alone and all the possible shunting. :)

I'd never actually considered that but you're right, lots of scope for moving trains! Regards,

Hello Grant, you should like the DCCconcepts gear, it is well designed and made. They were in Perth Western Australia, about 2 years ago, they opened up in the UK,
eventually closing the shop here in Perth. We don't have many good model railway hobby shops any more, the best one is Hobbytech, they have a good selection
of Train gear. Enjoy fitting and connecting the surface mount points motors, I look forward to see how they look and operate. Regards Gary

Thanks Gary, I always wonder why they relocated, it was such a big move. Hope to get the surface mount motors in the next update.

Grant Williams , that’s ok, it’s funny you know, I decided to buy the Z21 Roco dcc controller, so I rang up DCCconsepts to find out if they still had any in stock, that’s how I found out they were closing there doors in Perth, I was told someone will be there to help me, when I got there, I was told most of their stock was packed up and it was best to order online, it was about a 45 minute drive from my house to Navel Base, so that was a waist of time, so I ordered the Z21 online, it went by ship to the UK and then came back to by post to Perth WA again and in the meantime, the price went to pounds, it cost less than if I had bought it here in Perth, it’s the best way for controlling your railway, much easier to read CV’s and program loco’s.
I had heard there were disagreements, so the people running DCCconcepts in Perth got out, there for, shut the doors here in Perth.
      Take care, regards Gary

@@garylester55 Thanks Gary, i didn't know about DCC Concepts in Perth. I have heard the Z21 is very good, i bought my ECoS before i knew about the Z21.

Grant Williams not a problem. I just found out tonight, the Z21 doesn’t read the CV’s on DCCconcepts Zen decoders, the loco runs, that’s the main thing for now. Regards Gary

Hi Grant, I’m watching with huge interest, as I am planning to install a reversing loop on my N gauge layout when I eventually extend it.

Looking great so far, but all that wiring would confuse me.
