Honestly, this video needed to be made! This year has been such a disaster for the community with all the constant bullshit drama. That's why I'm leaving the drama community starting in 2023, and I know drama exists in all communities, but I'm hoping that it doesn't go to the extent we have had to suffer this year. Other than that, I have been very grateful for all the good things this year and getting my channel to where it is today.
This year has been very difficult for the Vyond Community with how at the common issues escalates to a ridiculous standpoint. While we can't promise the next year being drama free as drama is apart of life and there is no such thing as a perfect year, there are ways to make some improvements for the upcoming year so that it won't be as much of a pain as 2022. As long as we look forward to the positive side of things, there can be a way to enjoy our favorite activities and hobbies without being too bother by it's down-faults.
I'm very glad you brought up all of the shit that went down in the Vyond & Plotagon communities this year, and yes, it happens in the Plotagon community too. I'm especially glad that you brought up Jonah Campbell. Jonah Campbell has seriously lost it this year, and the way he has acted has given a lot of braindead kids in the communities the green to act however they want without caring about the consequences. At this point, I feel sorry for him, because I don't want to see him end up in either a jailcell, or the cemetery. I always feel like I have to be his therapist and calm him down, as well as the mediator when he and another user get into a scuffle. HOWEVER, in all fairness though, I have seen him pretty calm for the past few days, not sure if he's really trying to improve himself, or if he's just setting us up. HOPEFULLY he is being genuine and trying to fix his ways. I actually have a video similar to this coming out tomorrow afternoon (don't worry, it's not plagiarized, but it talks about the good & bad of 22, and how we can fix 23. And also, I made that video before I saw this one). Hope you'll be able to see it!

Ikr! Last year was nothing but a hell of a ride. And I agree with you, we need to start focusing on the positive stuff about this community, because if we do that, I guarantee we could make the Vyond community similar to how it was in 2019. Those are all spoken facts you addressed in this video! 2022 in the Vyond community in general has been a very naughty and terrible year for me, but at least 2023 won't be as bad as this year has been! While I do agree that dramas can get kind of irritated at times, it's something that people shouldn't be dragged into most of the time, as all of this mess including what you said about people falsely accusing me of committing CP and pedophilia when I wasn't nearly made me quit because of the bullshit we've encountered, but I'm literally hoping to god that 2023 will be a better year for all of us in the Vyond community! But all of that aside, I'm very happy that my channel has gotten to where it is today as I've reached a grand total of three milestones within a single year: 2,000 subs in February, 3,000 subs in July, and 4,000 subs in October! Luckly that year's over. I kinda have to agree that it was a bit toxic compared to a few other years. 2023 Needs to be a better year with less drama. And I seriously hope punishment day videos can calm down. Especially with Dora and Caillou mostly. And I feel bad for Corey and Shaun for all the hate they gotten over mistakes they regret making. But if someone just denies your apology, You just have to move on from it. But that was too much for people to hate on them like that. Like they are the worst people on earth. That has to change too, Hatedom can cause bullying everywhere. I hope that all calms down this year.
As we prepare to close out 2022 and head into 2023 this weekend, I just want to let you know that you're absolutely correct on everything you said about what has happened in Vyond this past year. Additionally, I must admit that Lamar's Devastating Punishment Day on his 18th Birthday on Monday, May 2, 2022 was by no means, the defining moment in the history of Vyond. Moreover, it has completely changed the way one disciplines a troublemaker and one can risk getting oneself into trouble if he/she punishes the troublemaker to the extent of Keisha and Tayshawn. But on the positive note, many troublemakers including Tristan have redeemed themselves since that fateful day, which is a plus and I hope that this doesn't happen to anyone, both in Vyond and in real life. I could relate to your point that 2022 in Vyond has been rough in many respects. But at the same time, there is hope for a better future in 2023 and it is up to us to persevere and improve habits. Such an important message to listen to. Thank You!

Although it was going well earlier in the year, these last 6 months of drama was an absolute hellhole. This is why I'm leaving the drama in 2023. even though 2022 is a super horrible year for the hell of it, i've been having dealt with anger issues lately since there are too many dramas out there throughout the spring in 2022, and not just that: i falsely got exposed by someone all because my entitled behavior that i need to deal with! but the good thing is I left this drama community, because it has been getting out of hand from the start. hopefully i'll change my behavior starting this week before new years eve comes.

Okay, I watched this video and i am mixed on this, the first main problem of treating Troublemaking characters horribly are as the result of only making grounded videos about them all the time. so if all we see from them is only causing trouble depending on the severely of their actions, how can people see them as human beings? you mentioned that troublemakers are human beings and that they can change their ways and become good people, the problem is that this is not shown how troublemakers can change their ways so how can people know this. I have to give you credit for what you are doing to Tristan which should be used as an example of this. Since you added (And How Can We Fix It?) to the video title, i am going to give 3 suggestions to all Goanimators including David as well 1) Give Troublemaking characters some character development 2) Show the good sides of those characters not just only the bad and ugly side of them. 3) Show that the Troublemaking characters can change their ways and become good people The third main problem of bastardization of some OC characters you guys created in your universes is that there are no rules of what they should do with them if they want to add them to their videos. i have to give 2 simple suggestions 1) Set some rules for people if they want to add those OC characters in their videos 2) Report those videos if they broke the rules That's all i have to say on this.

I think I want to focus on the present now, dwelling on the past makes me too toxic, especially the preschool show hatebase and all this pointless drama. But I can still have fun reminiscing about nostalgic moments of my life, but I wouldn't act like the past is 100% perfect, when time travel doesn’t exist. Inspiration and plagiarism is different. 4. Ask first before you use a video that inspired you want to make, along with characters 5. Do not ruin any character, especially Carolina Ramirez, Raven Fernandez, Isabella Gonzales, Allison Tanner, William Lassiter, etc. If I were to use Vyond in the future, my videos will make sense, and follow school committee policy and state/federal law. My characters are well treated equally.
Even though I am not a Vyond person, I actually agree with you 100%. I never wanted to be involved with this Vyond drama anyway because it’s pointless, a waste of time, and in my opinion is a lot worse than the Will Smith situation. Some people in the Vyond community are even just as toxic as most Star Wars fans and Justin Bieber fans even though I don’t like Justin Bieber. I keep telling everybody that it is time you people in the Vyond community to stop taking those troublemakers seriously. No more grounded videos, no more lumpy potatoes, no more unhappy birthday, no more crying like a motor car, and definitely no more punishment days! Plus, we all know those things don’t happen in real life. Yes, people gets grounded do happen in real life but not like this. This person made a movie called Jack vs. Club: The Movie, he took my character without my permission and turned it into a stupid and violent version of myself. If you decide to go watch this movie on TH-cam, go ahead, but for my character in that movie at the time is me with the Santa hat, red shirt and green pants. That has been one thing that happened to me in the vyond/W:O community.

She did really make the Vyond community a giant cesspool, didn’t she. I could say a lot of bad things about her, but you probably already know about all that. All I will say is that she needs to be terminated and arrested, then her fanbase can’t follow in her footsteps.
If Vyond gets too toxic and there’s no more hope of fixing it, the better users might as well just leave and let the assholes take over and never revisit it again. With any luck, the trolls will learn their lesson, hopefully before Alvin Hung shuts it down. (If he does shut it down, what’s to lose anyway?)

Agreed. But in my opinion, 2021 was an alright year even though some terrible things did happen in the world. However, 2021 did have some great and entertaining blockbuster movies like Raya and the Last Dragon, Godzilla vs Kong, A Quiet Place part 2, F9: The Fast Saga, Black Widow, Free Guy, Shang-Chi and the Legend of Ten Rings, Venom 2: There Will Be Carnge, No Time to Die, Dune, Eternals, Ghostbusters Afterlife, Encanto, Spider-Man: No Way Home, and Sing 2.
