your first mistake was forgetting to carry the one in your calculations, your second was not enclosing the device so that you were caught within the device's warp field instead of it just travelling through the cardboard
His third mistake was drinking the potion instead of pouring it on himself

The fourth mistake was not making calculations to adjust the angle of the portal gun, which he is clearly capable of based on the teleporter.

Here’s one more way of teleportation he could’ve done:
He cleans up the house and fixes all the furniture, he sits down and watches tv. He flips through the channels and finds Doctor Strange is playing (conveniently on a scene where he’s using his ring) he gets one more idea and goes to the whiteboard and writes “ring”, he goes back to the dealer and gets the ring from him before returning back home. He then looks back at the tv and does exactly what Doctor Strange does and actually opens a portal but not to where he was originally wanting. He opens a portal and out comes Doctor Strange himself, he takes the ring back and goes back through the portal before closing it.

1:52 - Again, the effects are computer generated
2:12 - While he was trying the teleportation on Rocky, they also took him away
2:30 - The background was made in green screen, and things including trains were computer generated
2:43 - The snow effect was added
2:57 - The yeti hands that Buttered holds are the costume for halloween
3:48 - The picture of ladies was officialy created in the photoshop app and later placed on a cardboard/paper

Please note the difference between "warping" and "Teleporting" is the use of a portal,
Tele *PORTS* use *PORT* als
While warps is "On Self" and doesn't need any device
EDIT: Teleporting involves opening a wormhole-like portal, even if for a split second. the warp potion didn't do this, so it is appropriately named.
