  • We returned to one of our current favorite places in the Northern Territory (Fogg Dam Conservation Reserve) and spotted a whopping 30 species of birds + a crocodile! Fogg Dam is a culturally and biologically significant site, harbouring over 200 species of birds and has the highest known biomass of predators and prey on the planet! Wulna people are the Traditional Owners of the area. Come birding with us!
When in nature remember to leave no trace, follow all signs and guidance, and never feed or approach the wildlife (birds included!)
Hope you enjoyed this weeks video, please like and subscribe for more :)

I've never known American tourists to dive into the detail of the Australian environment like Macy and Gav. Glad you are experiencing the diversity of each area, you can imagine what you might find in the rest of the country. It will be sad when you leave but you might return again one day !!

We both have ecology/environmental degrees so it’s only natural 😅 super excited to see what the rest of our time will bring!

We love Victoria too!! But also both grew up with all the seasons so it feels a lot more familiar than heat all the time.

I do like the colourful parots in Victoria and l keep seeing this red robin he's so bright red near the river in Melbourne but l can't get close enough for a clear photo with my phone ...l was resting from riding my dirt bike ..and the blue Robbins are good and black Otways cockatoos..and the major michell parot .budgies are good big flocks in western Australia..the murry river in Victoria/ NSW has a lot of fruit farms should be heaps of work ..a flock of cockatoos over 1,000 are so noisey in Tocumwal on the murry river ..and koalas if you haven't been to the murry river you need to go cool in winter ..alot hoter 35 to 42 in summer almost always blue skys
