I think so. The only reason it's not completely useless right now are grave rune shenanigans. While Al'ar is really vulnerable to your opponent having minions on his board which has been a thing since HS launched. So yeah... He is just Bad :)

From that thousand opportunities. it was four minions against him, Catarina is normally nearly Impossible to remove that with this board, without "destroy a minion"
