    Hello,
    Your plans seems interesting. Looking forward to seeing them becoming reality.
    Regarding the air filter... I made a change to a 900i I had once, by completely removing the original air box, and making a new duct with adapters for the air mass meter between filter and trottle body. I used an high end dry open filter (~100€ price class).
    In my opinion, the original paper-style filters needs to be really big to allow air flow with low pressure loss.
    Newer "fabric"-style filters will allow air to flow more easily, and give that "gurgling/gasping" sound when you quickly give full throttle.
    -But, all depends on what you want for your car. I will enjoy watching your progress regardless.

    One little trick you can do to your maf is take the metal screen out. Vancouver 240 says it good for like a million horsepower

      @@Greg-k4j not crazy, no. Once it's drawn in a CAD program, you can send it to an online or local waterjet place and it's not terrible at all
