Hello, Your plans seems interesting. Looking forward to seeing them becoming reality. Regarding the air filter... I made a change to a 900i I had once, by completely removing the original air box, and making a new duct with adapters for the air mass meter between filter and trottle body. I used an high end dry open filter (~100€ price class). In my opinion, the original paper-style filters needs to be really big to allow air flow with low pressure loss. Newer "fabric"-style filters will allow air to flow more easily, and give that "gurgling/gasping" sound when you quickly give full throttle. -But, all depends on what you want for your car. One little trick you can do to your maf is take the metal screen out. Vancouver 240 says it good for like a million horsepower

@@Greg-k4j not crazy, no. Once it's drawn in a CAD program, you can send it to an online or local waterjet place and it's not terrible at all
