I met Steve Hogarth on a flight back from Sweden. He kindly agreed to appear at a benefit concert at Beale Park for the orphans affected by the loss of the Estonia. He wrote this song for the concert (unplugged)
This song is particularly for those who has lost loved ones. It's like a balm for the heart because It brings peace in the heart and mind. One of best songs I heard in my life !!! ❤️❤️❤️ I made 2 musicals piece, but not lyrics on my channel ("Trépas" and "Out of this world") It's a tribute to those who have passed away ! Thanks you, "exteriorLulu" for sharing that song ! I think it's the best version I heard of this song (a bonus track on Radiation's album) Listen in 3:32 (piano) one of the best part. I've had about a month without listening to much Marillion at all (how I coped, I don't know). I hadn't really noticed, because I was listening to loads of other stuff. But I've been depressed for a few months now, ever since I got into other stuff. I randomly listened to some Marillion again today, and I no longer feel depressed. Months of sadness gone, just like that. Thank you Marillion :)
My fiance left me today I think it's sad but it's probably for the best This is the first time I tried to reach out for a song since she abruptly left me Amen
@RezzKalozzTV I quite agree with you that Fish´s singing was more powerfull than Hogarth´s. But , as a group, they continue to compose and play very interesting songs
@RezzKalozzTV My first album was Chilhood, then bought Script, and others. I really like that kind of music, and Fish´s leadership. Although I need to explore Fish´s solo songs a little more. However, I also enjoy this "second version" of the group. Thanks for exchanging ideas on this subject.
@PlayingAfterDark - You are right by saying that this song is from This strange engine but this song was released as a bonus track for the US release of Radiation. In fact this is the acoustic version, not the same version that originally came out on TSE. just to let you guys know :)

Wrong album. It's from "This Strange Engine" NOT "Radiation" Wrong lyrics... upon the repeats of the chorus line changes to "No one leaves you when THEY live in your heart and mind" You have good taste in songs though... this is one of my (many) favorites from Marillion.
