From camry muffler deletes to now repairing a salvaged Porsche is insane man. Proud to say I've been here since 3500 subs. Seeing your growth has been absolutely unreal. Super keen to see the build, keep up the incredible content brother🔥
people saying “mat armstrong affect” yeah everyone’s doing it. putting fuxxked cars back on the road is good. copying thumbnails isn’t. but mat isn’t the only person that does it
From someone that’s owned cars with similar looking damage. I can almost guarantee that the frame rails are damaged. If it’s a repairable write off, you’ll have to have the rails within 1mm of factory measurements, as the car has to undergo a pretty in depth inspection. So best to get a team tracking gauge and measure everything before u spend too much money for disappointing. Pulling frames isn’t cheap.
Awesome vid great quality keep it up Rex been watching you for about 2 and a half years and you've motivated me immensely, thanks for doing what you do!
bro this is getting real.great keep pushing yourself and still if u dont class yourself as a mechanic u really need to reconsider that. much love from northern ireland

Amazing work man. Great spec with the colour. I imagine manual transmissions are probably a bit expensive? I’m a euro guy with a W124 Mercedes and E46 cabrio. Sourcing parts brand new usually in bulk to save shipping from places like FCPeuro and Pelican parts will probably be best, unless you are able to get what you need second hand at wreckers etc. Looking forward to this one.
It's been a while since I last talked to you about my 2000 Camry LE 4 cylinder. Last year I bought a Denso O2 upstream oxygen sensor. I hooked it up myself within 20 minutes it shutdown the engine. But the car itself was still on. I found out just a few days ago that the O2 sensor I have is a short band sensor. My Camry computer doesn't except it. What I need is a Denso upstream air fuel ratio AFR sensor. This type of sensor is a wide band sensor that my Camry's computer will except. Also I found out why my door locks and windows won't work. The original stereo radio was replaced with a new stereo radio but it was biting the duct so I bought a new stereo radio system. The guy at Maximum Car Audio in Greenup Kentucky USA told me with the changing of the 2 stereo radios has messed up relay or something like that that work the door locks and windows. So I have to buy this part to replace the older one that doesn't work. Some of the repairs on the Camry I'm going to try and repair myself. I bought a repair manual a long time ago. Some repairs I can't do so it'll have to be taken to a mechanic I can trust. Good luck with your new car.
Yeah... Changing the radio shouldn't mess up the locks unless the previous install spliced into something. How much was the part? Step on is to buy a cheap obd2 scanner so you can diagnose yourself. Toyota nation forum is also good
how on god good earth is this possible as a fellow Aussie i have looked into rebuild car in Australia in depth and from the looks of that it could never be reregistered
These things cost like 17k in decent condition... all said and done it will still be cheaper than the R32 or Chaser lol Congrats, you literally bought the worst Porsche with the lowest spec.
The dude reminds me of me....😂 when I was in my 20s owning a base pov spec Audi, and thought I was cool....bro settle down its an old base spec Porsche....how many times do you have to say it.
@@rc70ys It would probably have severe mechanical issues then... If this car is half price to what a good one would be, it's an excellent deal... Also remember that it has very low km for it's age, if they're genuine anyways...
