Aw I wish the part where Robert takes care of Amy’s burnt hand was included, if it wasn’t for Marie and Frank I think Hank and Pat would’ve come around Amy and Robert getting married a lot sooner thanks to that moment ❤
Amy’s parents are self-righteous and arrogantly judgmental, Frank and Marie are over dramatic, Debra was being a busybody, and Peter was a sniveling weasel. Ray was the only one who truly respected his brother and his girlfriends relationship
Frank and Marie are rude and intrusive but Amy's parents are bible thumping weirdos. I'm with Marie I'd think it was weird if I met a person who said they'd never had a muffin. Also they were awful when Robert proposed. Trying to take Amy back home with them and saying "she'd moved to the big city and fallen in with wrong crowd" they said that right to Frank and Marie.
The nerve of her parents, Amy a grown eomdn who can make her own decisions. Instead of respecting that they want to have come back home to Pennsylvania. They're so against her marrying Robert that they would do that... How were they expecting to talk her into that anyways?
2:43 Listen: It’s not so far-fetched. I went 47 years without ever eating any kind of muffin, myself. I wasn’t TRYING not to have one or anything. Just never happened. Given the choice I always went with the more seductive biscuit, bagel, donut, or digestible. I would always plan on having one, but then forget. Then one day, at 47 years of age, I had the option. I remembered I needed to pop my muffin cherry. So I ate my first one. Nothing earth-shattering about the taste. IMO it’s just substandard cake to eat at breakfast, without the reward of frosting.
Muffins in the 50's-70's only used 1/3 to 1/2 cup of sugar for a batch. Now many recipes use 1 cup of sugar. Serving size was 1 ounces and tasted mildly sweet but now they are huge at 5+ ounces each and taste like cake. Not worth the calories in my opinion.
Frank is the best of the all. His lines are the funniest.
Best man of the show
I agree.@@tsatsimakgato6255
Amy and Robert were my favorite couple. They were so sweet with each other. Once they got things figured out..❤
FR I was so happy when Robert found amy

One of the funniest episodes. 😂
Fred Willard was great actor/comedian! Really miss him popping up in all of my favorite shows!
11:58 - This is the one time where Ray was right on not getting involved.
Her intention was good though.
@Powerranger-le4up that usually the case but Debra always has a crack in her plan (at this point in the series)
Only Frank Barone can turn family prayer into a fight!! 😂
I miss this show; the acting was just amazing and soooo funny!
I am not sure how they were able to keep straight faces here.
Frank is right here. Not rude to eat if others were offered and refused lol
6:40 Finally Robert said that to Frank and Marie
Well he's not wrong
It's not the first time. There was the episode with his lucky suit.
I bet if you told them the word, “atheist”, they would have heart attacks lol
10:29 “Take my strong hand”
If I was Robert and Amy, I wouldve given Frank and Marie and Hank and Pat an ultimatum: either get along or get out of our lives for good.
Calm down, this is just a comedy!😂
I would have just said get out.
Amy’s parents are self-righteous and arrogantly judgmental, Frank and Marie are over dramatic, Debra was being a busybody, and Peter was a sniveling weasel. Ray was the only one who truly respected his brother and his girlfriends relationship
This so funny
Thanks for the comment!
Amy was very beautiful

Evangelicals have been the same way with me because I’m Catholic.
12:06 Debras realises she screwed up and that shes not as smart and competant as she thinks she is

I've decided that it's not a sin 7:36
Hank looks like John Michael Higgins

@7:37 But it is a sin.
Why there is no Pat smoking scene
That's a different episode.
1:07
Frank only made things worse by acting like a child with the muffin. Not a good first impression.
Now I remember I hate that brother of hers
7:31
The most toxic family in the history of live action television shows
There should been an episode on Robert's dong and Ray's lack thereof
"Jesus said to him,'Iam the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." John 14:6

Amy Parents are weird in a good way . They must’ve been Catholics ? Peter was a stoner still living with them .
No they were Presbyterian. In a later episode they suggested they go to the Barone Catholic Church and Hank was hesitant.
@@JAWS-fc7fn oh ok . Ty for letting me know
Ray was in the right and Debra was just completely wrong. It feels so joyous
