We are happy that a great cricketer and a humanist gentleman has been installed at the helm of affairs in our neighboring country. We hope and pray that Pakistan will prosper under your able leadership. Ameen. We, in India, have rejoiced on your election with the hope that you will not move on the beaten track of history and find a peaceful solution with our Prime Minister, to solve our age-old problems, so that the people of both the countries would live peacefully, hence forth. Your recent promise that Pakistan would take two steps in case India takes one step towards peace, has been appreciated by all the peace loving people of this country. May two of our countries endeavour to tread in the path of peace, Ameen. I intend to bring one more important point for your kind consideration as the Prime Minister of Pakistan which I am sure you will be able to do, as a man of justice and fair play. I am a member of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community from Bangalore, India. As you are very well aware, Ahmadies are treated as a second class citizens in Pakistan and the past rulers were afraid to take on the powerful lobby of Mullahs, who have been spreading venom against the peace loving Ahmadies. All their civil rights have been curtailed, their places of worship have been destroyed and they are driven out of their dwelling places. They are subjected to target killing one by one and the Mullahs have declared that Ahmadies deserve to be killed. Is this the country which you want to rule or would you permit them to live peacefully and follow their faith without any hindrance, as desired by your Quaid -e- Azam? Incidentally, I would like to bring to your kind attention about one important point which I have observed in your oath taking ceremony. Due to the instigation of the Mullahs, your government has made elaborate arrangement to include the words Khatam-an-Nabiyyin in your oath. Which says it's meaning is that the Holy Prophet (May peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) is the last prophet and no prophets can come after the Holy Prophet (saw). However, in the same oath, the Holy Quran is also mentioned as Khatam-ul-Kutb. Does this mean that the Holy Quran is the FINAL / LAST book and no book will be written or made after the Holy Quran ? If Khatam-ul-Kutb means that it is the seal (BEST) of the books and denotes its exalted status from among all the books, why can't your Mullahs give the same interpretation for the words Khatam-an-Nabiyyin as the seal (best) of the prophets? Why this double standard only to attack Ahmadiyya Muslims? In this connection may I bring to your kind attention that Haz. Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) the founder of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat, had only claimed that he was a sub-ordinate prophet to the Holy Prophet Muhammed (saw). Needless to state that nowhere in the Holy Quran has it been mentioned that the Holy Prophet (saw) is the Last Prophet. Majority of Muslims are not in a position to appreciate the real meaning of the above impugned words Khatam-an-Nabiyyin because, for generations, they have been taught the wrong meaning, while Ahmadi Muslims are barred from explaining their position correctly to other Muslims. They are not supposed to discuss about their faith and all their publications are intentionally banned in Pakistan. They are not permitted to assemble openly and practice their faith peacefully. How then can they present the real facts about their belief to the common people as, doing so, would land them in prison? I want to re-iterate here that Ahmadies are true Muslims and scrupulously follow all the five Islamic tenets and six Islamic beliefs as any other Muslims. Holy Prophet (saw) himself had mentioned, many times, that one who recites the Kalima is a Muslim and those who call them Kafirs, themselves are Kafirs. It is, therefore, a great sin to call real Muslims like Ahmadies as non-Muslims and persecute them in their own country. I once again request you to give justice to Ahmadi Muslims in Pakistan and allow them to lead a fearless and peaceful life under your reign in Pakistan. Ameen. With prayers and best regards,

I intend to bring one more important point for your kind consideration as the Prime Minister of Pakistan which I am sure you will be able to do, as a man of justice and fair play. I am a member of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community from Bangalore, India. As you are very well aware, Ahmadies are treated as a second class citizens in Pakistan and the past rulers were afraid to take on the powerful lobby of Mullahs, who have been spreading venom against the peace loving Ahmadies. All their civil rights have been curtailed, their places of worship have been destroyed and they are driven out of their dwelling places. They are subjected to target killing one by one and the Mullahs have declared that Ahmadies deserve to be killed. Is this the country which you want to rule or would you permit them to live peacefully and follow their faith without any hindrance, as desired by your Quaid -e- Azam?
Incidentally, I would like to bring to your kind attention about one important point which I have observed in your oath taking ceremony. Due to the instigation of the Mullahs, your government has made elaborate arrangement to include the words Khatam-an-Nabiyyin in your oath. Which says it's meaning is that the Holy Prophet (May peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) is the last prophet and no prophets can come after the Holy Prophet (saw). However, in the same oath, the Holy Quran is also mentioned as Khatam-ul-Kutb. Does this mean that the Holy Quran is the FINAL / LAST book and no book will be written or made after the Holy Quran ?
If Khatam-ul-Kutb means that it is the seal (BEST) of the books and denotes its exalted status from among all the books, why can't your Mullahs give the same interpretation for the words Khatam-an-Nabiyyin as the seal (best) of the prophets? Why this double standard only to attack Ahmadiyya Muslims? In this connection may I bring to your kind attention that Haz. Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) the founder of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat, had only claimed that he was a sub-ordinate prophet to the Holy Prophet Muhammed (saw). Needless to state that nowhere in the Holy Quran has it been mentioned that the Holy Prophet (saw) is the Last Prophet.
Majority of Muslims are not in a position to appreciate the real meaning of the above impugned words Khatam-an-Nabiyyin because, for generations, they have been taught the wrong meaning, while Ahmadi Muslims are barred from explaining their position correctly to other Muslims. They are not supposed to discuss about their faith and all their publications are intentionally banned in Pakistan. They are not permitted to assemble openly and practice their faith peacefully. How then can they present the real facts about their belief to the common people as, doing so, would land them in prison?
I want to re-iterate here that Ahmadies are true Muslims and scrupulously follow all the five Islamic tenets and six Islamic beliefs as any other Muslims. Holy Prophet (saw) himself had mentioned, many times, that one who recites the Kalima is a Muslim and those who call them Kafirs, themselves are Kafirs. It is, therefore, a great sin to call real Muslims like Ahmadies as non-Muslims and persecute them in their own country.
I once again request you to give justice to Ahmadi Muslims in Pakistan and allow them to lead a fearless and peaceful life under your reign in Pakistan. Ameen.
