Meaning, the engineers and producers who worked on his vocals and mixing and knew what to do with his vocals to make it sound right are now gone and a completely different set of people are now working on those things who have a way lower budget and most likely are less experienced. That is the reason why everything that dropped after 222 sounds off, it's because a completely different team is mixing and producing him who probably aren't experienced enough to know how to work with his sound.

2024 was supposed to be the year Tjay gets consistent in terms of quality and quantity but it's been one year since 222 dropped and since then we had "I should've known" which was alright, "Told Ya" that did not match expectations, "Good life" that did not even drop on Music Platforms and "No No" that in my opinion has very low replay value on the long term. He has not been featured on any big project, has not been teasing any project of his own for 2024. I honestly don't know what's up with Tjay but he has to change something if he trully wants to be back at the top of the rap game.
