- Did you know that playing with water supports every phase of learning and development in children?ð§âĻWater play fosters social interactions, enhances problem-solving skills, develops eye-hand coordination, exercises creativity, and allows children to experiment freely. As of May 2023, we are thrilled to unveil our newest interactive exhibit, Mechanical Waterways 2.0! Follow the link to learn more about all our interactive exhibits: bit.ly/40EGtsc
Mechanical Waterways 2.0 is a result of a collaborative effort between the Childrenâs Museum and the design team at HÞttinger Interactive Exhibitions located in Nuremberg, Germany. With its series of cascading water tables, the Mechanical Waterways 2.0 exhibit is the perfect place for little ones to experiment, explore and learn about the wonders of water. Children of all ages will love splashing around in the water, discovering how it moves, and exploring the various structures and mechanisms that make it all possible.
ðMechanical Waterways 2.0 was made possible by generous gifts from:
Sally Krahn Estate, Manitou Fund, Jeanne & Bill Osterland, and William G. Irwin Charity Foundation.
