When I was 13 my dad bought my first set of Gretch drums here. Chuck and Bob would serve my parents vodka in the back room. I bought a black oyster hollywood Ludwig set here and a Champagne Pink Hollywood set here. I belonged to Hollywood musicians union local 47 which is just across the street from PDS.
In 1998 my 18' bass drum was accidentally snapped in half. Stan charged me $40 to glue it back together noting that there was no guarantee as to how long it would hold. It's 2013 now, LOL! Thanks Stan...master craftsman.
AWESOME! Stan is a VERY special guy... talk about integrity! JERRY and Stan are hilarious together... I couldn’t tell you how much business I’ve done there... partly because I really LIKE THEM!!
