I've been with my mate for 17yrs. He came in my life when 2 children was 12 n 14. This man was a better father to them, than their own dad! He bought them all their school supplies, clothes, even their graduation supplies. Over the years my daughter has become very disrespectful to him. She makes sny remarks, throw hints, even tried to fight him! She wants him to leave because of his dog that helps him thru his emotions n depression. He has 4 adult children of his own that don't call him or nothing. They act like he never did nothing for them. He was married for 20 years n yes he's done some infidelity stuff, but the wife turn the kids against him. My daughter has 2 kids, so they call him pawpaw. He fix her cars for free, fill her car up with gas. We allowed her boyfriend to come stay with us with no job! We paid all the bills, dug graves for extra income while they sleep in the AC all day, while we sweating in the sun. She has forgot all of that! Children are so disrespectful to the ones who help them n gives respect to the fathers that don't help!

Like mother like daughter, she's a marriage material how would she be a good parent, a good mother. She has a very good husband who's ready to sacrifice anything to let her know he cares n love her as her own but still all she can say is Chantel is an adult n she can take gud care of herself. She messed up by spoiling her only child instead of helping her husband so together they can work on her she's ignoring him. The worse will soon happen n they'll really see the light if they have the opportunity.

Omg this is a wonderful n interesting movie. I must commed on this. Some children are very lucky to hv stepfathers that's very caring n loving also willing to give them the attendance just like a father would teach them right from worng how to respect themselves n others but sometimes as mothers they tend to leave them to go astray becaz they refuse to put thier foot down n teach them rules n regulations they see it as punishment n that's what they don't want to give thier children but leaving them to do as they please sometimes parents regret there actions towards thier children's life standard...as a mother had she paid her daughter just a little more attention n stop spoilling her then she might hv noticed what was happening in her life......

Great movie and great lesson. A must watch. This is how wayward children end up in the end. The mother should’ve listened to the stepdad he was right all along. All because the mother was enabling her and being a friend more so than a mother and disciplining her correctly. The Bible says train up a child in the way they should go and when they’re older they shall never depart from it. Also it says spare the rod and spoil the child. May we get to raise children in the Lord’s way and never spare that rod. We are allowed to discipline our children just like the Lord discipline us. This is sad and tragic what happened to Shantel.
