Hello mate thanks alot for the support! I’m definitely not the go-to person to ask about setup as I am nowhere near the best lure fisherman, but my rod is a Penn Wrath 2 10-30g and my reel is a Penn Pursuit 2500. I also use (I believe) 8 strand 16lb braid.
hi matt is me again today I tried out your spot I didn't catch today but thats probably because I was using my 150gram rod with just mono and cast wasn't great I'm saving up for a similar setup to what you suggested to me but overall is amazing there was a man I met caught 9 schoolys and one 3 pounder also was your opinion on eastney if you don't mind me asking and your videos are so good I could watch the same one 40 times thank u for your amazing work matt
Hello mate thanks alot for the support again! 😎😎 Which lures were you trying? A 150g rod will definitely be overkill but mono shouldnt be much of a problem. Get yourself a decent rod & reel with some 16lb braid and you’re good to go 😎😎 As for Eastney, I haven’t fished there in a very long time but may be fishing their tonight as it happens 😅 I’ve heard Red Mullet, Bass, Codling & Rays are being caught quite frequently down there on worm baits

@benjanes69 no problem mate! I didnt bother listing places to get them as there are loads of suppliers! They both definitely work though & around sandy point & hayling seafront you should pick up school bass easily 😎😎
