- Today and thanks to South Motors BMW, I finally got my hands on the 2022 BMW M235i Gran Coupe!!
An interesting designed BMW, and probably the first FWD sedan in the US for a BMW, is powered by a 2.0 Twin-Scroll Turbo producing 301 HP and 332 lb-ft of torque mated to an 8 Speed automatic to all 4 wheels!
Price as Tested: $49,460

Never before in my entire life have I seen a car review with a test drive in a parking lot!
not bad
i think i would go for the RWD one that's just me
great review
Appreciate it. I think I like both of them. I’ve driven the 230i before and it felt very nimble. Overall impressed with the M235i.
hopefully I get this or the 2 door in late 2024/early 2025 when my countryman lease is up. also looking at jcw countryman
Let's drive in the rain in a parking lot. smh
I feel the 2 Series Gan Coupe should get into the rally racing market.
Or TCR
Where’s the Racing seats if it’s the M235i?
They are optional
Awww! I can’t remember the options mines jst came with it, I waited 16 months for it to come from the factory, bloody joke, loving the car tho, got it re-mapped and it’s got quite a kick 🔥🔥
I want what bmw was smoking when they designed this
Is it really that bad ? Lol
Wheels!!!! Not rims!! You need a new job bud , but nice car
Too dark!!!
ehhh disagree, it doesnt remotely feel like a BMW at all, i would know i owned this car for 1 year, it feels more like a mini(which makes sense because its on a mini chassis and same motor B48), the looks are not there, it is a genuinely hideous car, i dont think it has a single good angle to look at, the interior is the nicest part about it and the interiors not even all that, in the end its a decently fast car that has about 301 hp and 336 tq i believe and its awd(front biased),0-60 clocked in at 4.3-4.4 by carwow which is actually really quick imo for a car thats not even a full on M car, now in the end those arent even the reasons i would not consider getting this car ever again, but i would say the biggest issue to me is the price, youre spending essentially 48-55k on this car, which is ALOT for what youre getting, heres a list of sports cars you can get around the price range of this M235i:
Mercedes-AMG CLA 35
Toyota GR Supra 2.0
Subaru WRX
Kia Stinger GT
Audi S3
Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack
Dodge Charger Scat Pack
Ford Mustang GT
2015 BMW M5 (20k Mile Range)
2016-2018 M2 (20k Mile Range)
2016-2017 M3 (20k Mile Range)
and the list goes on, in the end my opinion stay away from this car, if it had the looks i def wouldve kept it, but ya (fyi i was pressured into purchasing this car and it was my first bmw lol)
I mean it is the cheapest new BMW
@@enriquealomia6399 "cheapest bmw" coming in at 50k lmfao no not cheapest, you realize you can buy previous gen M cars for that price right? lol
Im debating to get this car. Is it really that bad? The only thing i dont like about this car is the back.
@@bj10jgo its not an all around horrible car, for what youre spending i dnt believe so, id say either pick up a used model of any bmw 2 years older or so, or get a brand new 3 series, the power diff isnt worth it for the small size and uglier looks, you could even get a 330i for cheaper with m package, i payed 52 for mine not worth that price
i ended up getting an M2 with 20k miles for 52 LOL
