As someone who isn't interested in Fortnite, or any battle royale style gales really, I can confidently say that I would actually love seeing more of this stuff.
Not sure why so many people in the Nintendo sphere despise fortnite when Splatoon 3 copied the formula and failed tremendously even after its 3rd attempt.
My guy, splatoon 1 predates fortnite by 2 years. And the two are nowhere near similar except for the third person shooter aspect. If your gonna try to make a point then respectfully get your facts right.
@@directorjones *3rd person shooter. The third game uses a season pass they straight up lifted from battle royals yet the items will still come back so it's a failed attempt. Hence why I mentioned it, hence why you should respectfully mind your own business if you can't understand context : )
Sorry for the wall of text, but please read completely. Thanks! I don’t want a fight from across the internet, BUT. 1. You never gave context that you were talking about the season pass aspect. 2. The splatoon 3 season Catalog is not a season pass. Yes it has a similar feel, but the funni squid game probably has higher ratio of casual players than they do sweats who have an indefinite amount of time to use and grind the catalog. Overall both games get their player bases based on who their target audience is. Nintendo’s goal was to strike gold in the “Team based Third person shooter” mine. In a way I’m like our friend John here. I’ve played Fortnite Very little, and mostly solo. But I had fun. Ultimately I did not prefer it to the more fast paced Splatoon 2 and 3. I do not want to argue over whether the Splatoon season Catalog is a type of battle pass. Nor do I want to devolve into an “Angriest comment thread on TH-cam” situation. Ultimately, just have fun.

Try no build mode, i find the game infinitely more enjoyable that way. People who are sweaty with building can ruin your day real quick.

You’d have an easier time listing the similarities splatoon has to TF2 than to Fortnite.
