vortek theory: I always thought the "new" vortek would go on to be a vortek in someone elses game, restarting all the events and making a new reality for the players to explore.
In regards to the ending of Lego Dimensions, they were planning on continuing the story and having Vortech be a playable character released in Wave 3, but then production for the game was discontinued and they never followed up on it. I'm guessing it was a nameless minifigure with no confirmed identity (because it would be sad if it was someone we knew already, seeing them get taken over by Vortech). HOWEVER, I think it would be epic if it was secretly *Bob,* the generic mascot of Lego Universe.... sadly though, the unknown character doesn't have yellow skin like Bob, so probably not. :(
I always thought the "mystery figure" from Lego dimensions was Rick Jones from Lego marvel superheroes as his jacket arm is red plus the fact "vortex is a problem for a another universe" could mean Rick Jones was thrown into his compound by accident and then possessed transformed whatever by vortex
About the Vortech brick guy. I don't think it's Steven Universe, because his clothes are more pink than red. And here are some of my theories about that guy: 1 He could be just a random citizen in a red shirt, that randomly got teleportet to Votech's palace. 2 He could be a typical lego minifigure, the one with a smiley face, red shirt and a blue pants. But if thats the case, then he should've had the yellow skin just like all other lego original characters.
While who picks up the brick remains a mystery, why the cutscene is there is not. It is clear it was put there so that if Lego Dimensions was successful, they have a story point to continue on for a sequel. Since the game wasn't extremely successful, the sequel never happened and we never found out who it was.
the statue of liberty winks as a reference to GTA4 where the statue of libery is alive and has a chained up heart inside of it. Most open world games with a new york stand in make a reference to GTA due to Libery Ctiy and this is Lego's homage to that game's "New York".
I have a theory for the last one. So, Mario is Missing huh. Well take a seat in my mushroom house and hear me out. I believe that the person that got corrupted is Super Mario himself. Mario has red sleeves and it explains why he's missing from Lego City Undercover. The main flaws of this plan is that the Lego Mario looks different than the non-minifig one we know and he isn't wearing gloves.
If you want my personal theory on Lego Dimension's after credits with the piece of Vortech. My guess is that this is some unknown or known character that was unwillingly transported to Foundation Prime and stumbled upon the piece before it absorbed itself into the person and gets their body possessed by Vortech. Vortech is an energy being, he has no true physical body but he can be hurt by physical things and easily reform back to normal, can turn large and can turn into other things. I think the piece of Vortech still has a bit of Vortech's life in it which is why you hear him laughing in the very end. As for how the guy got there at foundation prime, remember in the story how sometimes some characters get sucked into a gateway for some reason like Superman and Benny? I think this guy got the same treatment and just suddenly got transported to Foundation Prime. I saw some theories that say that it could be the backstory of Vortech and this is how he came to life but I don't believe it. The structures the piece and the guy are on are the same structures from Foundation Prime and they wouldn't have existed had Vortech not ruled that world in the first place. It also wouldn't make sense for it to be his backstory since in the beginning, Vortech's visit to Foundation Prime seems to be the first ever visit so it wouldn't make sense if he was suddenly born in Foundation Prime, leave to look for the Foundation Element pedestals and then come back to find the pedestals there. That' my personal theory, feel free to fight me.
So with the yeti mystery, I think, if I can remember correctly, he’s a mascot for a ice cream brand in the game. I swear I remember seeing his face somewhere tied in with ice cream. I could be wrong though
I think why it’s so dark in Gotham is because they always say that Batman always only fights crime in the dark and the prisoners escaping maybe night time is the best time to escape
I swear in the Back to the Future level in the main campaign for Dimensions you summon the helicarrier from Marvel so I think Marvel was going to be in Dimensions but Disney ultimately said no because of Disney Infinity
I always thought that each main chapter of lego batman 1 happened on its own night, and yes, it does become daytime in gotham, just that the villains only strike at night so we only get to see the game at night
1:45 Lego games also tend to not reuse assets for big important things like that unless it's either supposed to be a very clear reference or something else is up. Not for no reason other than time crunch or something like that
Nobot appears in the actual Phantom Menace movie. It had the same body color and eye color so I assume it's him. In the movie it's also charred so i assume it has something to do with fire. Also you forgot to mention that it recorded someone's murder
Not just recorded, but was directly involved with somehow; whether it was the actual killer or was just right next to the woman, I don't know, but it had her blood all over it, so...
The statue of liberty is alive because of pink mood slime and the song higher + a NES advantage controller to have it move. That's a Ghostbusters 2 reference if you didn't know.
If you try to cross the bridge in Lego Marvel superheroes, the Damage Control worker tells you that there's nothing over there. There's definitely some kind of Shield cover-up conspiracy going on in that game.
The theory at number two is interesting but we know that LEGO Dimensions takes place after LEGO Batman 3 because in the main story during the level Riddle-Earth Braniac appears and Batman implies he has met Braniac in the past, and while you could say there were some events that maybe happened between Batman 2 and Dimensions it’s also implied Batman 3 is the first time the Justice league has dealt with Braniac. Just something I thought I’d throw out there
lego dimensions takes place before batman 3 due to the weeping angel in the hall of justice and the movies contradicting the games a part of the batman 3 timeline. Interesting point though
I always just assumed Dimensions took place between 2 and 3 anyway, which explains why some DC characters have their outfit from 2 and some have theirs from 3 (with Batman being a mixture of both), plus the Joker robot being brought back. Brainiac is a big plot hole there, but technically he can be fought in Batman 2, so there's already a plot hole that exists; this just adds to it. (Not to mention Brainiac's drastic vocal shift...)
@@xavthesimmer725 that’s the thing, I feel Batman acknowledging Brainiac kinda overshadows the weeping Angel (who were in front of the Hall of doom by the way). Shouldn’t words spoken by the characters be considered more cannon than what was probably initially an Easter egg?
@@Lokear the fight against Brainiac in Batman 2 however is done in the over world as a side mission and probably shouldn’t be seen as cannon since that would then contradict with Batman 3 coming after 2.
For Lego City Undercover, you mentioned all the mario Easter eggs being in the switch version. There is one that is missing. The red brick mario cap is only in the wii u version. It was taken out of the re-releases, including the switch version. It make it so there are 49 red brick in game instead of an even 50.
video idea top 10 deleted LEGO Game content which a playable Lord Vortech should be included, as interaction voice lines are still in the data of LEGO Dimensions
I could provide some stuff if need be, I'm getting into LEGO modding so I've delved into the files of some of them. For example, there's a whole unfinished Armory room in the LEGO Batman 3 Watchtower hub, it even has a loading zone just shoved out of bounds (under the door to the containment cells)
The person in the lego dimensions post credit scene has a red arm and the lego community doesn't recognise him, so therefore, he is C- 3PO from star wars the force awakens
The 12th doctor is actually the 14th incarnation of doctor who, as the 10th doctor died, and then regenerated as himself. The 11th doctor was supposed to be doctor who’s last life, it’s just that Clara convinced the time lords to give him more regenerations.
Suggestion: Make actual subtitles so we don’t have to guess our way through the auto-generated ones. Aside from that, love your content. I grew up on Lego games.
Oh my god Rugged mate this video is absolutely phenomenal this absolutely proves you take prestigious and precious time to make these amazing videos and im so proud of you my guy you really are a legend to human society (Lego society) ❤🎉😂
I'm pretty sure Lego Batman The Videogame takes place throughout multiple nights, since the Man-Bat mission has a daytime section Also those weeping angels in Lego Dimensions traumatized me
What if the character that picked the cube at the end of Lego Dimentions didn't become exactly like him but only its arm? What if that's Jek 14, or a parallel version of him? Well no, that's the wrong arm. He should have picked it with his other hand.
Great video I really had fun watching it, and it brought me back to when I'd watch Dr. Who. I also have a random question to anyone reading this, because I'm genuinely curious. If you have ever played Lego LotR, have you ever encountered a sort of glitch, when using the disco phile, and trying to make Gollum dance? It doesn't work in the Hobbit, but in LotR, he does a sort of T-pose, and it's the funniest thing I've ever seen in a Lego game! If you have the game, you've gotta go give it a try! You won't regret it!🤣
My theory is the reason it’s always night in lego Batman 1 because during the day Batman’s just sleeping upside down in the batcave (maybe with a little stuffed animal)
To be fair, if (at least) 15 Arkham inmates-including Joker, Killer Croc, Poison Ivy, Bane, and Scarecrow-had just escaped, I would probably stay off the streets, too.
In Lego Indiana Jones 2, Kingdom of the Crystal Skull part 3 open world has a weird glowing green hexagon that serves no clear purpose. No one knows what it does it this day. (If anyone does, they are please let me know.)
huh. well if you think that the mysterious character in the ending of Lego Dimensions is a crazy mystery, read this: what happened to Lord Vortech after he was finished off in the end of the game? you assume he might've been killed. however, Expo says "now Lord Vortech has been removed from our realities. now he's some other realities problem." emphasis on "other realities." so maybe they didn't trap him in a never ending rift loop. maybe they trapped him in another set of Lego unvierse. no pun intended. as for the mysterious character, i think he was a guardian of those other universe, but somehow ended up in Foundation Prime due Vortech's banishment. if that makes sense.
Well, in all honesty with the always night thing. I feel that it kinda makes sense. I mean imagine seeing a bat man in the day. Its not as scary as it is at night. Second, if we compare other batman games that aren't lego, they would follow the same formula too. A rainy dark town which is overrun with bad guys. Plus crime happen more at night anyways, so it would make sense with why its always night. Criminals have better chances at getting away with things at the dark "knight" then they would in the bright sunlight
5:00 my real question is what does it take to kill a Lego character, because from recent games, even splitting them into pieces doesn't seem to actually kill them
I like that you think the Statue of Liberty seen in the "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" world of "LEGO Dimensions" is the same one from "LEGO Marvel Super Heroes" and "LEGO Marvel's Avengers".
In my opinion the biggest mystery in lego games is How on earth did the anti monitor get into the positive matter universe in lego dc super villains and more importantly how and why did he end up on apocalypse.
Guess we'll have to see in *LEGO DC SUPER-VILLAINS 2, COMING SOON TO A THEATER NEAR YOU* if they do have a sequel for it though, they'd better get it right. DC Super-Villains is my favorite LEGO game, and I really want one for Marvel as well (though LEGO Marvel 3 does have to happen first, it's only fair)
LEGO Batman One is Arkham Universe in between Origins and Asylum. Only way Bruce could do it. All Arkham games except for Origins take place within a few months.
A mystery I have is why does my copy of Lego marvel superheroes on PS3 sometimes freeze when going up the elevator in the helicarier (other than the hardware of the PS3 being a bit underpowered)
The mystery character is the cameraman. And you, the player! _You_ are able to travel throughout the multiverse because you can experience all of these stories through the characters.
For the last one i strongly believe its just the player. When has Lego ever made a first person cutscene. I think they just wanted to make a funny end and let the player be the strongest charakter in the end
There's still one of the biggest LEGO mysteries left to be solved.... how long is Spider-Man's web....? But in all seriousness, I'm really glad to see LEGO Dimensions still get talked about today and, looking at the comments, there are still fans of this game who are asking about the mysteries of the ending just like I am. It's also nice to see how much Dimensions connects to the crossover easter eggs found in later games. For some reason, to me, I just saw Dimensions as an unpopular game and thought that not much people knew about it, despite their packs being stacked onto shelves in every shop's game aisle, or is Dimensions actually not that popular in the game industry, compared to other LEGO games. I can just easily imagine this to be true in a circumstance like someone saying, "Oh damn, there's a LEGO Sonic game?! I never new about that! Oh wait it's justs one level in a game called LEGO Dimensions?? I've never heard of that game before...". But then again, Dimensions is ranked as the No. 1 best LEGO game even ranking over Skywalker Saga, but I think that was only in a single ranking I've seen, but others say Skywalker Saga is the 24th best game, so I don't know what to believe when it comes to rankings. I hope that at some point in time, all the fans of Dimensions can colloborate to make LEGO Dimensions return in some way or another. Thanks for reading my side tangent.

About the Vortech brick guy. I don't think it's Steven Universe, because his clothes are more pink than red.
And here are some of my theories about that guy:
1 He could be just a random citizen in a red shirt, that randomly got teleportet to Votech's palace.
2 He could be a typical lego minifigure, the one with a smiley face, red shirt and a blue pants. But if thats the case, then he should've had the yellow skin just like all other lego original characters.
Great Theory
Also, how do we know that cutscene happened after the events of LEGO Dimensions? That could've been Vortech's origin via a flashback.
While who picks up the brick remains a mystery, why the cutscene is there is not. It is clear it was put there so that if Lego Dimensions was successful, they have a story point to continue on for a sequel. Since the game wasn't extremely successful, the sequel never happened and we never found out who it was.
They have to put that mystery to rest at one point or another.
I think it is Marty McFly
the statue of liberty winks as a reference to GTA4 where the statue of libery is alive and has a chained up heart inside of it. Most open world games with a new york stand in make a reference to GTA due to Libery Ctiy and this is Lego's homage to that game's "New York".
Great theory
@@ruggedeagle Theory or fact rugg? (BTW you’re my favourite ytber)
On lego city undercover on Wii U there was a red brick that can activate mario's hat on the characters by activating it
We need a Lego Dimensions sequel
Appreciate the Doctor Who references in Number 2 🙏
Hands down a really atmospherical video. Also a big touch on the Lego Dimensions is nice. Guess this vid wasn't a cakewalk to make.
Thanks dude ❤
I think why it’s so dark in Gotham is because they always say that Batman always only fights crime in the dark and the prisoners escaping maybe night time is the best time to escape
I believe another reason could also be because Gotham and Metropolis are counter-parts/opposites in the same way Batman and Superman are
I swear in the Back to the Future level in the main campaign for Dimensions you summon the helicarrier from Marvel so I think Marvel was going to be in Dimensions but Disney ultimately said no because of Disney Infinity
Good idea
I think Marty McFly is the character in Lego Dimensions post credit
I always thought that each main chapter of lego batman 1 happened on its own night, and yes, it does become daytime in gotham, just that the villains only strike at night so we only get to see the game at night
From one lego fan to another, thank you.
My pleasure!
I find these videos amazing!
Keep doing this!
This might be my favorite list yet! I love mystery fiction and this was epic
The statue of liberty is alive because of pink mood slime and the song higher + a NES advantage controller to have it move. That's a Ghostbusters 2 reference if you didn't know.

You forgot that Brainiac appears in lego Dimensions and remembers the events of lego batman 3.
Great video btw
Yeah true in Riddle Earth
Well, dimensions travel mean time travel right ? Make sense to me
I wish Lego dimensions got a sequel
Yes !
Yes me two
“Lego Twomensions, The Sequel.”
I wish they’d make a version where you didn’t need the sets.
The Skywalker Saga Silver droid actually creeped me and my sibling out
My only explanation for the grape box, is that they are collected in certain levels in the ds version to make a minikit
I think some of those grape boxes are in “Secret Plans,” if not a trio of similar boxes.
This vid is just what i needed tonight
;)
I’d LOVE a Lord vortech minifigure
My biggest Mystery: What happened to Battle of Five Armies DLC in Lego The Hobbit?
For Lego City Undercover, you mentioned all the mario Easter eggs being in the switch version. There is one that is missing. The red brick mario cap is only in the wii u version. It was taken out of the re-releases, including the switch version. It make it so there are 49 red brick in game instead of an even 50.
video idea
top 10 deleted LEGO Game content
which a playable Lord Vortech should be included, as interaction voice lines are still in the data of LEGO Dimensions

I'm pretty sure Lego Batman The Videogame takes place throughout multiple nights, since the Man-Bat mission has a daytime section
Also those weeping angels in Lego Dimensions traumatized me
What if the character that picked the cube at the end of Lego Dimentions didn't become exactly like him but only its arm? What if that's Jek 14, or a parallel version of him?
Well no, that's the wrong arm. He should have picked it with his other hand.
Some characters can die without breaking into pieces to mention one. There's a cutseen in LEGO Star Wars where Padme dies & just gets x's on her eyes.
You won't regret it!🤣
Yeah, he's like: T
turns out that the grape box is a reference to a collectable item featured in Muppets Racemania, which is also developed by TT games.
Lego dimensions can explain how all the different villains ended up in the “dc” universe in the Lego Batman movie
I only recently found your channel but I absolutely love your videos, you can tell you put in a lot of effort 👍 ❤

Wow the intro was amazing! very happy that you metion lego dimesions more and more such a underrated game

My theory is the reason it’s always night in lego Batman 1 because during the day Batman’s just sleeping upside down in the batcave (maybe with a little stuffed animal)
In my headcanon that's Billy Batson hand because Shazam was going to be on Year 3
I love Doctor Who and I’m glad to see your amazing videos starting Doctor Who with the music and cool mysteries.
I know who the chalk outline is for
it 's for the Yeti hence why he doesn't appear in the story

To be fair, if (at least) 15 Arkham inmates-including Joker, Killer Croc, Poison Ivy, Bane, and Scarecrow-had just escaped, I would probably stay off the streets, too.
In Lego Indiana Jones 2, Kingdom of the Crystal Skull part 3 open world has a weird glowing green hexagon that serves no clear purpose. No one knows what it does it this day. (If anyone does, they are please let me know.)
Played the game, found the hexagon, tried to find purpose, didn't find purpose.
From what I remember, Dorothy never left Vortex's castle. I've always assumed it was her.
huh. well if you think that the mysterious character in the ending of Lego Dimensions is a crazy mystery, read this: what happened to Lord Vortech after he was finished off in the end of the game? you assume he might've been killed. however, Expo says "now Lord Vortech has been removed from our realities. now he's some other realities problem." emphasis on "other realities." so maybe they didn't trap him in a never ending rift loop. maybe they trapped him in another set of Lego unvierse. no pun intended. as for the mysterious character, i think he was a guardian of those other universe, but somehow ended up in Foundation Prime due Vortech's banishment. if that makes sense.

The real mystery is how stan Lee gets in so much trouble
“With great power comes great responsibility,” and Stan Lee doesn’t have responsibility I guess
@@Sir_Shark06 He certainly does have great power though. Odd that those powers seem to change every few years, but whatever.
@@Lokear yes, yes indeed. Intriguing observation my friend.
I wish LEGO Dimensions got some kind of GOTY edition that had all the content on modern consoles without needing the weird portal or the toys
May I tell you Home Alone 3. They used that stereotype to their advantage
@@DarthOminis True. But they were smarter than some of the people in the batman universe
Although the director of Home Alone 3 was not as smart for letting that movie be produced.
5:00 my real question is what does it take to kill a Lego character, because from recent games, even splitting them into pieces doesn't seem to actually kill them
Your such a great TH-camr , so underrated and inspirational for us nerds 😂

I like that you think the Statue of Liberty seen in the "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" world of "LEGO Dimensions" is the same one from "LEGO Marvel Super Heroes" and "LEGO Marvel's Avengers".
In my opinion the biggest mystery in lego games is How on earth did the anti monitor get into the positive matter universe in lego dc super villains and more importantly how and why did he end up on apocalypse.
Didn't even know who was in the game
Guess we'll have to see in *LEGO DC SUPER-VILLAINS 2, COMING SOON TO A THEATER NEAR YOU*
if they do have a sequel for it though, they'd better get it right. DC Super-Villains is my favorite LEGO game, and I really want one for Marvel as well (though LEGO Marvel 3 does have to happen first, it's only fair)
@@LesFountain well now you know 🤣
@@Lokear mine too and the one thing that made me so mad in that game is how Lex ended up betraying us in the end.
It happens on Xbox 360
I never knew about these mysteries before so great video as always!!!!
The mystery character is the cameraman. And you, the player! _You_ are able to travel throughout the multiverse because you can experience all of these stories through the characters.
Im so confused every time i here the top gun theme. Its so nice even tho it has nothing to do with lego hahaha
