Three Rivers Race 1989

An extract from a programme called Sailaway that featured the Three Rivers' Race held each year on the Norfolk Broads.
It features on-board footage from the yacht that my parents shared with my uncle and aunt (Four Winds). Although not a fast boat and us not being racers, we finished after a long cold night and duly received a completion award.
After agreeing that the (authorised) camera crew could come aboard to film the event we were threatened with disqualification by an over-enthusiastic marshal when we put them ashore at Acle Bridge. He claimed we had received "outside assistance" which is against the rules...
