I don’t know - post grad by several years I love the stability of a career. I think it’s awesome you can put down some roots, gain seniority , have access to the better trips; know how to create a good schedule. My absolute favorite is buddie bidding content. Maybe that’s the key focus on booking some fun trips.

I’m a loving Tan girlie too! I love it so much. However…..i found this one called Isle of Paradise and it is one of those that is a lotion that you can apply at night and don’t’ have to rinse off and it is super super comparable. I bought it on amazon. I highly recommend!

It sounds like your upcoming buddy bid trips are something positive to focus on to get you through. I always pack extra sleep shades/eye masks in my bags. I pet sit/live in and have multiple go bags. They all have sleep shades. I cannot get a good nights sleep without them.

My city!! We have two new properties downtown Seattle finally, and I've enjoyed a couple of overnights so far. Costco has stuffed bell peppers that are good too!

I feel you Kacey. I have been in healthcare working as an Occupational Therapist for 18 years and am so fried. I love what I do, but I’m so done, but I don’t have anything ing else that I can do because I depend on my salary right now and I need insurance. So🤷🏼♀️. But I make enough to travel a lot! So it works out I guess.
Seattle ❤ my city. The homeless isn't has bad as the New York but sadly homeless & drugs are in every big city now. The market gets so packed in the summer. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Agreed on the summer burnt out. Summer travel is exhausting. I try to take it easy now then pick up more hours come fall.
Hang in there. It took me.20 years.to get a.good route. I recently retired with 37 years as a. Flight Attendant. My last 14 years I flew Atlanta-Tokyo. Worked 10 days a month. It was awesome. My husband was Captain on nearly every trip I took for.the last 10 years. We retired and moved to Alaska in 2019.
Seattle once was such a nice place.
It still is a nice place it's just touristic.

I've given up on hair dryers so long ago!!! I don't have the patience. I just let my hair air dry.
I used to get it all the time. My job meant travelling to Germany and America once a month to each country. Going to Germany I would be back later the same day and would be awake for over 24 hours straight by the time I finally got home. Going to the states it would take me a couple of days to adjust to the time zone. Then it would be time to go back. For a week I would feel disoriented and not know what time it was. I couldn’t imagine what it’s like for cabin crew.
That does sound exhausting 🫣
Yeah it was and I had a couple of scares too. One trip to America I returned from, I had been awake for about 3 days and I can’t sleep on planes. When I landed at Heathrow. I was driving up the motorway back home at 2am and I fell asleep whilst driving. I think it was only for a few seconds but the rumble strips make a loud noise and it vibrates the car and that woke me up. I was so lucky that it was 2am and quiet and on the motorway. If I did that on another road it could have been very nasty. Luckily now I work from home doing consultation work so I only travel twice a year now. It could be difficult sometimes especially when my kids were young. They wanted my attention and they didn’t understand why I would sleep for so long when I got home lol.
Ironically my daughter is now an airline stewardess, she works for EasyJet which is a low budget airline here in the UK. She really enjoys it, though she says dealing with a bunch of loud and rowdy drunken Brits on their way to Spain or Greece for their summer vacation can be challenging sometimes 😂.
I actually enjoy my trips now, I’ll make sure my return flight is for a fortnight later. I’ll catch up with my friends from America and I’ll go to states that I’ve never been too before. I went to Washington state last time and it’s an absolutely beautiful state. I went to Tacoma which was beautiful I love the Pacific Northwest I would like to go to Oregon next time then Colorado is on my list.

@@deepthinker999 Oh really? Thank you for informing me. I’ve heard San Francisco is full of homeless junkies and is pretty lawless out there? Is that true? Does Portland have the same issue? I’ve been to San Diego and LA before. I see someone get shot right infront of me. We were in Longbeach eating this beach side restaurant and they had a load of tents on the beach. These 2 homeless guys were arguing and one pulled out a gun and shot him in the head. We were no more 200ft away from them. It was pretty shocking to see, I’m from England where we don’t have guns. So to be that close to a shooting was a real eye opener.
@@smith2781 The USA leads the world in gun issues. I don't believe that anyone other than small Caribbean nations even comes close. It is in our Constitution long before the country had police departments. I'm not saying that you should not visit Portland or San Francisco, just be careful.
Kacey, I think you’re on to something. I’ve not ever made that connection before but these last 2 years have been so hard on the burnout for me too! Of course the co tract shenanigans didn’t help. I’ve thought about pulling back from flying and getting a second job because I also don’t want to quit. I totally understand your perspective. Do y’all have minimum’s over there at AA?

I think it’s something to do with certain LED lights and the camera frequency.🤷. Not exactly sure , but several other aviation TH-camrs have noticed the issue as well….
Also here’s something fun for you, can’t remember if It’s Boeing or airbus planes , but on one of the two the lighting system makes the camera do that. Especially in/ go test in the lavatory.

I was thinking about taking a trip over the summer, however, July is a very busy month to travel to any destination., Thank you for the video and I look forward to watching more new TH-cam videos in the future, Alister Ian Hoult, Carrying Place, Ontario, Canada.
Before going check how crowded the destination has been with tourists. Greece is particularly overrun during the summer. Hot as hell also.

I get that Costco meatloaf for my husband, because I don't like meatloaf at all. I end up with the rotisserie chicken and make myself a big salad with white meat chicken from that.
In Europe we work to live and not live to work. There is a work life balance. You could try to have days off where you just relax without doing much to recharge your energy

First time responder, here: I don’t mean any harm, but depending on how long you want to “stick it out” in this business, I think you should focus on your union’s work rules and pay plan.
These airlines will “beat the crap” outta you, and not think twice. F/A work is tough. Forget about long hair styles…. it’ll get caught in the food and beverage cart 😵💫 Same for long nails …
And tell the flight crew to keep you updated on gate arrivals.

Swiffers are gimmicks. I was using one at work the other day. The supervisor got extra pads to go with it that were not made for it, because they make different pads for different brooms/mops, and they are just disposable trash.

If you rent the car out on Turo, be careful cuz your personal auto insurance doesn't cover it when it's being rented. It's a big risk.
Most auto insurance covers rentals but it is wise to confirm.
It goes with the renter’s insurance so it’s not that big a deal!

It is still wise to confirm if your particular policy already provides that coverage. One phone call can potentially save you a significant amount of money.
Flying is really hard right now. I’ve been flying for 39 years and I’m so glad I hung in there through the hard times. This job is great when you have kids- so much flexibility. Hang in there!
I would be surprised if you DIDN'T experience a bit of burnout! The constant sleep schedule changes, cranky customers, and long days! PLUS you worked through the toughest years in the industry! I hope you get a vacation soon!

do 5 minutes in the sun every day.. and just ditch that self tanner. I would cut about 12 inches off the hair and make it 3 minutes.. just free yourself from all of that mess.
