    Muga Dali Itili Recipe ( Odia ) | Moong Dal Idli Recipe by Mrunalinee : Idli is a easy to digest light steamed food. Which has many variants such as Rice gram Idli, Semolina Idli , stuffed Idli , Potato Idli etc. But, here I have shown another new type of Idli / Itili using split yellow lentils ( moong dal / Muga dali ) . Which is very easy, spongy and healthy too. Lots of colourful vegetables makes this fluffy idli more healthy and tasty . Also we make a flavourful and aromatic Chuteny to serve with Idli / dosa / Uthhapam etc. So, learn how to make Moong dal Idli at home made by Mrunalinee . So serve this healthy food with Chutney or with Sambar in your Breakfast, Lunch , Snacks , or for Dinner time . Enjoy :)
    Ingredients :
    To make Idli Batter :
    1. Raw Split Yellow Lentil ( Moong Dal / Muga Dali ) - 2cups ( 250 gm / 16 tbsp ) , Wash well and soak it for minimum 4 hours
    2. Grated Carrot - 1/2 or 3 tbsp
    3. Grated BeetRoot - 1 tbsp
    4. Chopped Fresh Coriander leaves
    5. Crushed Ginger - 1 inch
    6. Chopped Green Chilli - 2
    7. Fresh Curry Leaves - 1 Stem
    8. Fresh Curd ( Dahi ) - 4 tbsp
    9. Mustard seeds - 1 tbsp
    10. Salt to taste
    11. Eno Fruit Salt ( any flavour / Plain Eno ) - 1/2 tbsp
    12. Oil
    13. Asafoetida ( Hing / Hengu ) - 2 pinch
    To make Idli Red Chutney :
    1. Tomato - 1 ( big )
    2. Onion - 1 ( small )
    3. Bengal Gram ( Chana dal / Buta dali ) - 1tbsp + 1 tsp
    4. White Gram ( Urad dal / dhala biri ) - 1 tbsp + 1 tsp
    5. Dry Red Chilli - 5 pcs ( or add as required )
    6. Garlic - ( 2 - 3 cloves )
    7. Kashmiri Red Chilli powder - 1 tbsp ( instead add Dry Kashmiri Red Chilli
    8. Fresh Curry leaves - 1 stem
    9. Mustrad seeds - 1 tsp
    10. Asafoetida ( Hing / Hengu ) - 2 pinch
    11. Salt to taste
    12. Oil

    It's a new type of Idli recipe. Very fluffy, super soft, spongy, healthy & yummy. Vegetables in idli looking beautiful. Spicy Red Chutney is very nice combination.

    Wow Muga Dali Idili, and hot & tangy tomato chutney was looking extremely so beautiful. Idili is very softy, and very spongy in texture. Vegetables are make its very colorful. The hot & tangy tomato chutney was looking very attractive in color. It is very smooth in texture, semi thick in consistency, and very aromatic in flavor. I think it's taste is very delicious. At the end you have served this recipe on black plate with hot & tangy tomato chutney. Which was looking absolutely very fabulous, and your presentation was really superb.
