He gave up hope in Michael waking up so that’s why he began to have a favorite with children a little. He didn’t want to lose another son as he though he already lost Michael after the 6 years, so he wanted to keep Chris from any interaction with the world as it was ‘dangerous’. He didn’t want Chris to end up like Mike with a group of friends who didn’t care about him at all pretty much. He also just wouldn’t have been able to handle the death of another child.
I get how William feels but to forget his own son's birthday that is kind of sad. Why did they leave William what if you tries to kill himself . They need to know why we was behaving that way. Cause will I going to be so depressed and he will blame him self for everything.
