Cheshire and Merseyside Demystifying Public Health Research Workshop

The Cheshire & Merseyside Public Health Research Hub is working with the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR), to identify the barriers to research in local authority settings and address some of these barriers, with the aim of increasing the research culture in Public Health.
During the webinar we will aim to develop and facilitate links between public health and academic staff, as well as building links with the community, to share ideas and build our research community and culture.
This webinar will:
• Help you reflect on the research skills you already use in your daily work.
• Show how easy it can be to translate this work into formal research to inform the literature and evidence for the sector.
• Show how academic partners can support the research process.
• Give you some examples of the benefits of engaging in research.
