Just to add another perspective - people tend to have no idea how to deal with emotion and therefore sip it down some before they can even understand it themselves - I never understood this but we're all different especially in thinking and emotions in general - on a positive note - its nice to get that closure as opposed to being ghosted lol In love I think the only rule is "If you're in love and want to... then do" at the end of the day only you know what you're willing to take and what you can handle
