I tried this for my daughter baby shower and it turned out perfect I made my grandson name "KARSYN" everybody was going crazy over my treat table I used about 50, ($1) foam boards from the dollar tree
This is awesome! (Replying from child’s father account, I’m @memorieswithoctavia 😅) it gives me perspective of how little I can spend. My daughters name is just 5 letters ❤
Hello, Awesome talent God blesses us with, even more a blessing when you share to help others. I read the comments but did not see an answer to the question on the amount of boards used per letter. I understand each letter will be different I guess. In the video it appeared you used two boards, using the scraps for building the width. Is that about right? I am making the name MACKEAL for my first grand baby arrival. Just wanted to estimate the time and cost. Also, did you hot glue the cups inside? Thanks for sharing your gifts with us.
Thank you so much for watching. I really can't answer the question because each letter is very different for the amount of boards and time. I'm sorry I can't be more helpful. 😊
This looks awesome. I want to try it for my daughters baby shower but I wish you showed us how to do the letter B or a letter with curves. Now I’m not sure how to cut those curves.
Thank you for sharing! You make it look so easy! Can you please tell me the purpose of the styrofoam cups? Is it to add weight to the letter? How would the letter perform without the cups?
This is awesome, but im a litte weary about how to curve the board because im doing the word baby..id assume you have to add extra length for the curvature, please help..
You would only need to curve the board if you are using a different font. I use collegiate font which allows only straight lines. Makes things much easier.
maybe u can use less cups to get up to the height u need by repeated turning 1 cup facing up and then 1 facing down and stacking in that way. but love your idea

Good morning just saw ur video and i thought it was great thank you for the great explanation. Also wanted to see if you can please let me know the website to buy the cups please. Thank you
Love the video and how you explained in detail! When it comes to stacking the cups, are you putting the cups in the entire spaces of the letters or hot glue near the each of the corners. Also what size are the cups?
Hello. Depending on the letter, it takes between 3 and 6 hours beginning to end. I haven't encountered any that are really hard. More time consuming than hard.
what Brand of foam board is this? I bought some from michaels by Elmers . When I cut it the edges are a mess. Not smooth at all. Is that normal? also what kind of knife is that? I'm using a box cutter and struggeling to get it to cut all the way through. I have to make several cuts and I'm pushing hard. Maybe I have the wrong foam.....HELP!! ;)
@@RoyaleClassyCreations The dollar tree foam board is awesome. It cut sooo much better than what I bought from michaels and cheaper > My letters look pretty good for my first try. Thanks for the video
No neither machine will cut the foam boards. They are too thick. But I'm sure you can use the machines for template letters to trace on the foam boards.

Very informative tutorial, I feel pretty confident in giving this a try but I wish I could’ve gotten a view of the cups inside the letter. A little lost on where to place the cups on the inside.
