    I state in the video that you should do a dry run with your new oven and check the temperature for at least 30 minutes - I would suggest though to actually test it for an hour. If it is way off the temperature if should be, chances are that your oven is faulty. I returned two ovens because of this issue. I also learnt the hard way when I started out with polymer clay and burnt items twice - mainly because I didn't keep checking the temperature! Now when I bake polymer clay I tend to combine it with tidying the kitchen which is next to the conservatory where my toaster oven sits. I use my halogen oven in the kitchen.
