@@sisterscookingvlogs6056 I don't know exactly how they work it out but they don't state a pass mark in advance. I believe it's so they can change it slightly if they feel the paper was slightly easier or more difficult than expected. But I wouldn't expected it to move by more than 1 or 2 marks from paper to paper, if at all.
Only if it's Pearson/Edexcel. Other exam boards have different totals but for all of them 25% of the marks are non-calculator and 75% with calculator. Also, Edexcel is unusual in that they have a different total for level 1 and 2, the others keep them the same.
@@SimonHTT Yh because I received my results from my teacher today for my functional skills for maths saying I passed with a score of 38/64. Is that level 2 functional skills?
@@Rk_4562 Well worth checking with your teacher. It should have been clear when you did the exam if it was level 1 or 2. Most likely your teacher is sending results out to a mixture of L1 and L2 students and just put the wrong total on yours, even maths teachers make mistakes sometimes! 😉
@@SimonHTT I already have a level 1 functional skills maths certificate. Yh I’ve found out that the exam board is edexcel. I just wasn’t sure if the pass was for level 1 or 2
You could try this format instead. th-cam.com/video/YNjKIsI-cJI/w-d-xo.html Otherwise, I've found that it is clearer when your internet/wifi is stronger. Or just look at the newer papers I've uploaded which should be better.
Thanks sir
