Woow killer looking tune woods there Lawrence Have you notice any differences in regular redwood to sinker redwood tone wise ? I dig the head plant H.R.W & the tuning button's very sharp :) Thumbs up 2 that Person getting that Beauty :)
Fantastic! This MUST :) be your last one before 2025 :) May I ask an ignoramus (me, not you) question about neck length and why you do it? Is there a resonance technology behind different neck lengths - and you obviously have to incorporate different gauge strings yes/no :() was just wondering what the correlation was - how it worked! :) Gregg - Perth, Western Australia
Thanks Gregg. I have to be conscious when changing scale lengths for given tunings. the longer the length, the narrower I can get the gauge. Long scales have a deeper sustain.
@@nyberginstruments401 So, I think I get it, " Long scales have a deeper sustain!" I've just learnt something ! And I actually do like the longer sustains :) - like you had with that POC & Kalatox cittern a year ago! Thank you, Lawrence :)
Another beautiful instrument! Love the sinker red wood and gold hardware. It sounds amazing.
Thanks muchly! Glad you enjoyed the demo!
That is an absolute beauty Lawrence! If I wasn’t lucky enough to already have “Big Doug” I would be knocking your door down looking to buy that.
LOL! Thanks Martin! This new one resides pretty near to you, or almost... Just over in Wales. Glad you and Doug are getting along nicely!
Gorgeous!
Wow, that sounds glorious!
Thanks muchly :)

Thanks Scott! I think there is a subtle difference between regular and sinker. Sinker may have a little more sustain.
@@nyberginstruments401 Lawrence what's the name of that catchy tune you play ?
@@scottford1692 i think it's part of the Cameron Highlander.
