1) Breathe - Télépopmusik 2) Singin' in the Rain - Mint Royale 3) Magic - Robin Thicke 5) Hold It Down - Quantic Soul Orchestra 6) Took the Night - Chelley 7) C'est La Vie - Martin Solveig 8) Such Great Heights - The Postal Service
Wow beautiful simply beautiful... Everything was perfect from set to set and the clothes was good too... Whenever I need inspiration to dance I usually come to this video... So clean and just ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhmazing
1st song: Just Breathe by Telepopmusik 2nd song:Singing in the Rain by Mint Royale 3rd song:Magic by Robin Thicke 4th song: Hold it Down by Quantic Soul Orchestra 5th song:Took the Night by Chelly 6th song:C'est la vie by Martin Solveig 7th song:Such Great Heights by Postal Service
I DO AGREEEE WITH YOUU [= damnn, vibe xiii, that was AMAZINGLY CRAAAZY i love how Kaba modern has captivating intro's and SICKASS endings *AHEM, mike song's choreo* but shaun duong is definitely someone to look out for. he's GOOD!
That is some 1st class voguing right there! awesome guys!! I didn't watch the other ones except for Choreo Cookies and Kaba Modern is definitely way better.
They should have one! And not because they are Kaba Modern but because they were the best lol!! I think they had more variety in their dance, and i love the fact that they weren't matchy matchy with the outfits! My favorite part was 3:03-4:00!!!!
@jcastr000 speaking of which, everytime i watch kaba modern and they do that "walking transition into next section" or whatever it is called, it makes me think that if an urbanized city street full of young asians were to suddenly break into synchronized/choreographed dance then that is what it'd look like
yeah...cg did really well I'll admit and they had an awesome theme, but KM had so much more variety in dance styles, their vogue and whacking pieces were done very well. nonetheless both had great musicality and complexity in their choreo and were extremely clean, kaba just had more what the judges were looking for =P
ok i don't know what the whole controversy is about them placing in 3rd but don't u ppl think that really if it was rigged they would win 1st not 3rd? I shiver seeing this set. This set is just harmony, the feeling it projects is so tranquil and peaceful. Not only that they make it look EFFORTLESS. The hard work seeps out of their pores. Not to mention the choreography and level of difficulty is high in this set. The dancers are VERSATILE; breakers doing whacking and vogue-ing WHAT?!?!?!?! GO KM
@dbfro1 Yeah he is awesome, hes definitely one of the best dancers to dance for KM since the 6 left. But i found it really kind of odd/funny that he is usually a step behind in most of the sets. I still think he is awesome, its just a simple observation lol.
i respect your opinions about kaba, but you have to respect other people's opinions too. yeah there are kids out there who only "hype kaba up cuz of abdc," but there are also people out there who do know what dancing is about and really liked this set. i'm not saying I know everything about dance but everyone is entitled to their own opinions. the judges liked kaba enough to give them third, and they are all definitely qualified to judge this competition.
they worked toooooo hard for 3rd. they should have gotten 1st i mean come on. i saw choreo cookies and it was okay. kaba's choreo never bored me once. there the best crew in the world.
click on the view all comments button. it's at the top of the page. not so hard. and yes, the second song was a remix of gene kelly's performance of singin' in the rain.
i wouldn't call it disadvantage. it's originality. it shows that they're still good even though they don't 'move as one' like you said. and they should stick to it. wearing something that looks alike can be too cheer-ish
@hhpprinces yeah i kinda know what u mean but they always dress like that so ive been accustomed to it haha but it is kinda weird like with the bboy section 4 of them match and 2 of them dont like wtf haha
this was really good, but it didn't really capture the whole kaba modern essence. i know that people wanna diversify and try something new i guess, but with kaba... a crazy intricate + fusion of styles closing piece is almost a MUST! it's like tradition. stuff like bodypopper @ fusion '07, triple identity @ vibe xiii, justice @ body rock '08, and the vibe xiv ending. i just missed the chills-through-your-body, OMG, precise-movement-with-locking-and-breaking-elements ending in this performance
1) Breathe - Télépopmusik
2) Singin' in the Rain - Mint Royale
3) Magic - Robin Thicke
5) Hold It Down - Quantic Soul Orchestra
6) Took the Night - Chelley
7) C'est La Vie - Martin Solveig
8) Such Great Heights - The Postal Service
Wow beautiful simply beautiful... Everything was perfect from set to set and the clothes was good too... Whenever I need inspiration to dance I usually come to this video... So clean and just ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhmazing

god, the wacking is so intense. love it!
damn they are dope!!!! just like the last members of KM
They should have one! And not because they are Kaba Modern but because they were the best lol!! I think they had more variety in their dance, and i love the fact that they weren't matchy matchy with the outfits! My favorite part was 3:03-4:00!!!!
Omg. I love u :) Thanks!

The first one is "Breathe" by Telepopmusik
@jcastr000 speaking of which, everytime i watch kaba modern and they do that "walking transition into next section" or whatever it is called, it makes me think that if an urbanized city street full of young asians were to suddenly break into synchronized/choreographed dance then that is what it'd look like

Kaba Modern Legacy is the 'OLD' Kaba
Breathe - Telepopmusik
yeah, i was surprised that soreal didnt place.. unless they competed as an exhibition team, but I don't think so.
Sickest performance at Body Rock, Should of placed higher D: poor Kaba.

And they even danced to POSTAL SERVICE!! Can Kaba Modern do any wrong?? I think not!! And the vogue section...YES...WERQ!!
u love paul frank, but I love u.
Kaba modern is sooo smooth it's not even funny.
The guy that was dancing with the girls was killing it 3:11-3:3:50
ok i don't know what the whole controversy is about them placing in 3rd but don't u ppl think that really if it was rigged they would win 1st not 3rd? I shiver seeing this set. @dbfro1 Hey, Mike song choreographed the second one
i respect your opinions about kaba,
but you have to respect other people's opinions too.
yeah there are kids out there who only "hype kaba up cuz of abdc,"
