I don't have a bias in TWICE, but as someone that has suffered from anxiety I related too much with Jeongyeon and I was truly happy she was able to be here in the States(which I saw them in Dallas) with the rest of the members during this tour but overall, like she said, I'm happy she was healthy enough to be able to perform, I wish her the best and I hope she overcomes whatever she's going through very soon. Sending lots of love💚
Co-sign re: Five Guys. But now that Shake Shack came down to Florida, that’s my top pick…crazy expensive, though. I was unfortunately still stuck outside of the Atlanta arena when they started the show, so I was unable to join the sea of “green bongs for Jeongyeon,” but I kept it green all up until the encore round. It was really cool seeing fan videos of her getting back into the groove and become more lively and confident city by city.
@ 10:26 true, but I think a big part is they wanted to avoid possible exposure to the Coronavirus. I think one of the backup dancers got sick (not sure if Coronavirus), which is why Twice performed without some of the backup dancers for the Atlanta and both NY concerts. If you watch their Twicelights or Seize The Lights series, you see them sightseeing in the cities they're in back in 2019.
I'm sorry peeps but I'm not buying the company line our Jeongyeon was not out on hiatus, which I define as time off from the pressures associated with being an Idol. Jeongyeon was born to be an Idol, she light's up when she's on stage. I AM proud of her but for coming back from neck SURGERY in less than a year, that's a good reason to be proud of her. You ask why I believe this, just listen to what she says after the first rehearsal, was she nervous about being on stage NO she didn't think they performed well enough and needed more practice (I know she meant SHE needed more practice). You said it yourself TG she's a perfectionist. Any great performer whether athlete or dancer who has a surgery has two concerns will they reinjure themselves and can they perform at the same level as before the surgery. The 2 performances in LA assured her of both as you can attest to TG. Have you seen her performance of Moonlight at the encore's in LA, she's swinging her hair around like a mad woman she has no fear of her injury anymore. Ask yourself this have you ever heard of someone going on TWO hiatus's no you haven't and to come back and perform like she does think about that. For those of you STILL not convinced ask yourself what is maybe the biggest pressure on an Idol, even Twice, it's weight would someone who feels Idol pressure come back at the weight she did NOWAY. As beautiful as she has ALWAYS been on the outside (and yes I do find it hard to decide if she's more beautiful with or without make-up) it's her inner strength that I have always loved. Believe what you must but her inner strength is why Twice is still together (your girl Mina TG didn't go on hiatus either she had a much bigger issue, one word Sharon) AND the legends they are. OT9 forever.
