In the new patch they added this gun and the cocky bastard in the boss loot pools of dlc2

U can get it from Eista the invincible
Is it in the dlc 2 boss loot pools

Hot Ice54 I farmed tom and xam for 20 mins on mayhem 8 but I did not get it to drop. I’ll try other bosses
It drops from eista if you go to the bl3 reddit you can see a sheet of all the drops and locations

But at least we didn't have like 2 chests per map with a cooldown. Armory and gift shop had a lot of chests.
Bl1 one was easy those 2 dlc maps had like 20+ and maybe 50+ chests! Missing that game good times

So glad to see the guides back and this weapon back. Joltzdude139 you should finish up the base game legendaries to round that out as well because I miss them.
There is no cool down, you just need to save and leave twice and the chest will refresh
dood you are the man--I've never worked such an easy farm for any weapon--and for this, my absolute favorite gun in the game! so grateful to you for sharing this as there are many people recommending the skittermaw basin run which is tedious and endless--your hit is the best! after the tenth re-entry I'm starting to lose faith--or at least patience--but on the fourteenth try-yes!!! thanx for making my game-day

I remember using this weapon like a shotgun in bl2 with my max anarchy gaige build
Thanks for letting us know you can only get it from the floating chests, I presumed it was just a world drop and spent hours farming the bosses. Just did a chest run and got a Skullmasher and a Cocky Bastard on consecutive chests..Cheers dude.
Guess I got lucky with my Zane because the chests always open for me every time I save/quit

I've never noticed it at all, I mostly play my Amara, maybe she is bugged and I just never had a chance to notice it on the others, I dunno
Only happened to me when I wasn’t done with main story missions. Thought that was why
The basic chests like the tall one he showed in the video don't actually have a cool down. Red chests and some boss room chests do have a cool down.
Same for my Fl4K but on my Zane i have the cooldowns always wondered why this happens
the gravewort takedown was a nice touch.
Jultz you can read only farm like in BL 2 just with an extra step. after enableing read only go to security then to your user account on the pc then you get a similar window click on your user again and ther schould be multible boxes wich when ticked disable certain rights of the user on this document. there you tick writing and apply it and then you are good to go. you only have to switch characters ingame and thats it. this saves you from the whole effort of backing up ur save and deleting it again and again.
I found an exploit for the chests that you get as a reward for completing the first part of Eista's quest line. Don't accept the next quest after completing pt 1 go up to the three chests, loot them, fast travel back to Clan Amourette and they refresh every time.

There is a red chest behind kritchy to the right that respawns every other run. So you can farm for a good clairvoyant while farming the chest for skullmasher.
My FL4K has this glitch, got me great things from the Gigamind chest and Graveward vault
Hey joltz theres a weapon called the clayvorence or something like that...it drops from kritchy in cursehaven..you can get a masher version of it too..its insane

Hey Joltz here's a neat gun you can farm & it's a kaleidoscope location is inside the Lodge look for somebody that is moving on ground

Joltz there’s a gun called the little yeeti it drops from the yeti and you can get to him by goin next to the zone change for the cankerwood

btw im pretty sure the seventh sense pistol is bugged if you use it with the new artifact, the dmg goes through the roof, especially on graveward, its like a bore mechanic.

If you have the chest glitch you can spawn in the cemetery in xylourgos you can run up the stairs in front of you and stick to the right of the wall(its the same chest joltz got his skullmasher from) and you will find a portal chest I've farmed the cocky bastard and the skullmasher there.
at cursehaven if i said name correct the one chest can re spawn if you quit and re enter game over and over again

On console if you close the app (at least on ps) it’s basically reloading your save
Hey joltzdude139 I'm level 57 and ive been doing a lot of farming on borman nates and I realised you can farm vending machines for legendary class mods and grenade mods and shields I've been doing it for a while now and it super helpful
Bervis84 cheddar guns too, but that was sadly just a timed event :( I got some okay stuff from it but didn’t make the most of it. I’m hoping they’ll allow Legendaries to have a chance of spawning in vendors like the previous games.
I want the old Jakobs/Vladof sniper scopes back, i loved them .

Think this would be a good replacement for those that didnt get the Wedding Invitation? That sniper is freakin crazy on a Deputy Fl4k build, but the Skullmasher looks like it could demolish everyone as well.
There is a way to farm it easily without backing up saves, do the 1st or 2nd mission from Eissa and loot the chest after you beat him then go to the fast travel and back to the chests, rinse and repeat (there are 3 chests) doesn’t take long at all with a snowdrift

Christian Barbagli yeah, after you kill him for the quest you can keep farming the chests by going back to the fast travel and back to the chests. Also works if you’ve beat all the quests for him already.
Joltz I have a skullmasher with the anoint while sntl is active you get 100% bonus cryo damage if you will like that to try it out

I got the skullmasher so perfectly. After killing the end boss i got it from a chest in the chest room lol . Perfect time and place

If anyone needs to find the cocky bastard sniper you can only find it in portal chests, the chest joltz finds the skullmasher in is the one I farmed for it

Wait, does handling improve recoil reduction. So if i have the fade away anointment for accuracy and handling, would the skull masher have less knock back
wait so the character glitch is chests will always be openable after save quitting? so without the glitch do chests just remain open until the cooldown is up?

all of the chests in the dlc are glitched for me and respawn every time I save quit and I found a pretty efficient farm and it is the one you did on stream and then backtrack to the red chest by the enemy that drops the clairvoyance
How i farm on console is save quit, load in, and if I don't get it i go to home to go a different game then go back to borderlands and I can open the chest

Does anybody else feel like the skullmasher and anarchy were suppose to be rewards for completing hammerlock’s hunts and getting the gifts for gaige, but they decided not to do that. Which is I guess good for farming but it was much easier to get good anoints for things like the bekah and scoville.
Joltz if you play in coompetitive Mode the chest spawns every time y cooperative Mode they have respawn time all the red chest
So chests do have a cooldown! My moze does have cooldown but my first character from launch day, flak has save quit resets so he must be glitched. I always suspected the cooldown was the glitch. Is that going to be patched do you know?
I didnt know chests auto refill was a glitch but I have it so yeah that's fun

My character has the chest cool down glitch so it hasn't been an awful farm, but I have spent over 8 hours farming and haven't seen one yet :)
