10:25 - I would like to point out the fact that beta-blockers are not only "not good" in treating ruptured varices but their use can mean that the patient enters shock = life-threatening!
The patient has tachycardia for a reason: To use the lower amount of blood that he has efficiently.
EDIT: 23:46 a) CAT release --> vasocon. b) proinfl. cytokine release; a) & b) lead to blood shifted to brain etc. --> splanchnic hypoperfusion --> O-, decr. Pg, reperf. injury, decr. motility (= longer contact with acidic material) => stress ulcer
Thank you for this great vid!

can be dangerous if u have a long term ulcer and havent taken care of it..it might perforate,or u might start developing symptoms of anemia(fatigue, palpitations),It may be as simple as ur diet changing the colour of ur stool,i doubt ure taking iron tablets cuz tht is one of the common cause.Other causes are all a possibility like Dr.Bolin mentioned so atleast a stool test needs to be done to find out ur black stool has actual blood and if it is so then endoscopy is the next step.

Crash course. Remember now for the test. Then forget like all humans. No worries, Pharma will tell you what to do.
