After you last video, as I said, I ordered the kit for my m1000r competition. So easy, from time of uploading my map, 12 hours later, new map arrived. It was everything you described, better gear changes and better sound, I have stuck with stock exhaust. No running issues, just nail the throttle and up comes the front wheel at 70 plus mph without trying. Its transformed the pick up and gives me the power I paid BMW for. In the UK, just need bren tuning on the weather too now, if only !. Glad yours is sorted now, and thanks for video's. You are great at explaining matters, and nice to know problems get sorted. What a ride. BMW are such incredibly expensive bikes that one would think it comes exceptionally tuned from factory let alone an M. That being said Ido feel that my Sportster S would benefit from some tuning, specially in the fueling department. Some times it is just smooth, other times although the throttle is stationary it is jerky, which is so frustrating. Glad you're enjoying the bike, it is bonkers. Godspeed
I agree, but I guess it is government restrictions put on the bikes. Is that a Harley Sportster you have? My husband has one and loves. it. Thanks for watching and commenting. 😁
@@AmenCornerRider Yes it is ma'am. 2021 in black it's the second sportster s delivered here in Portugal. I'm now somewhere near 13000km (around 8k miles). I've put the Zard Top Gun exhaust (homolgated) and it almost became a new bike. Is your husband still enjoying his Sportster S?
@@RicardoMatosgoogle Yes, he really likes it. Most comfortable bike for him. Is that a full exhaust system you installed or just the end can? Bet it sounds better. The Sportster doesn’t sound like a Harley 😂😅
The Zard Top Gun exhaust I guess it's a slip on, but the supplied exhaust tube is practically attached to the engine head. The sportster S doesn't have the M1000R belly (I guess it's the catalytic converter). It does come with a DB killer, but once you remove it it is no longer homolgated, which here in Europe is mandatory. This exhaust has a beautiful note, deep and throaty. Another option to consider is the dr jekyll & hyde apex which has a servo with a remote to switch between open valve and closed, the sound is awesome, also homolgated.
I’m assuming you did this after the break in period? Also which tune did you get from bt moto and what benefits did you gain? I know you mentioned less jerkiness but anything else? Thanks!
Yes, I did the BrenTune after my break in service. I got the stage 1 tune. At first start up, idles easier and the bike feels more powerful in 2nd and 3rd gear. Removed the bit of flat spot in the lower gears. Quickshifter also feels smoother (if that's possible 😆).
What adapters do you need to run those mirrors? I’m looking to purchase them but cannot find anyone with the adapters in stock. My Brentune is supposed to arrive Monday. Can’t wait.

The CNC mirrors work really well. It all came down to aesthetics. I like the look of the Flight mirrors. 😁
So I am looking at B-Tune, what was causing your cold start issues, I know you said it was you and not BT but just curious.
The first tune (map) they sent me didn’t work properly. They had to re-send me a revised tune?
