The Mario Spaghetti Napper romhack in this video? I feel like the maker of it was a fan of SMG4, as the cutscenes that lack text dialog and just uses a bunch of existing voice/sound clips, feels straight out of an SMG4 video

Team Cornersoft goes absolutely all out in every comp, not to mention that they actively promote and hardcoded the non-profit warning in most of their hacks. Amazing group of people
Ok but ELISE though? Like damn that's one hell of a hack. I cant wait to see what team cornersoft makes next cuz this hack could probably stand on its own as a standalone game.
You can tell the people that made Elise (or some of them) played Omori and were influenced by it. Like the whole black space idea, the red window, the quote from the game itself, the discovering something through yume nikki style storytelling, Elise design looking a lot like Mari after the incident and so. But what I love the most is that Elise's hair seen from behind is clearly reminiscent of SOMETHING. Nice references
Holy heck, the water in that Lilypad swamp area is like, beautiful, how on earth is that possible in this game?? Wow, yeah, as I've seen more... this is just the most beautiful hack that's ever existed It's unbelievable
Normally I'm pretty satisfied watching the cut on the main channel, but I stopped after 2 minutes of ELISE because I knew this was one where I needed to see the whole thing.
It sucks, but over-exposition is really boring and he should have known better. His cave looked pretty nice but just going through a door and finishing after 5 signs of mass text is not a good look...
I respect his commitment and attempt, but the people here are right. The first three signs were enough, the red bob-omb was okay, some more level would have been better.

btw Simpleflips, those symbols in the ailen dancing room? Those represent the Western Zodiac. As I am an Aries, the symbol representing my Western Zodiac, Aries, immediately was recognized by me. The symbols there that represents the Western Zodiac (also known as Star Signs) being in that alien room, makes sense, as each Western Zodiac is tied to a constellation in the night sky. As opposed to Eastern Zodiac (also known as the Chinese Zodiac), which are tied to animals and go by a 12 year cycle, instead of how the Western Zodiac works, in that each "Star Sign" is tied to a specific period of a single year. And, if anyone reading this comment is wondering what my Eastern Zodiac is, it's Monkey. Ironically, I don't like monkeys at all.
